Thank you all so much for stopping by on our first day – it’s great to see so many familiar faces from the Forums, ThreeSpeech and elsewhere, with people posting comments from far and wide.
We really appreciate all of your lovely messages and are so glad that you like the blog. Keep your feedback, questions, suggestions and requests coming through and we’ll be replying to you as much as possible.
Today has been a great first day for content: we’ve had the updates to the PlayStation Store and the SingStore, both of which will become regular features from Mike and Nina; Rob has told us all about the great new Buzz! space coming soon to PlayStation Home; Kerry’s made us all jealous with her report from the UEFA Champion’s League final in Rome (congratulations to Barcelona and all of the Barca fans!); we’ve taken a look at some stunning inFamous videos and artwork, and read about the new patch for Crash Commando from Olof and the dev team.
Tomorrow promises to be another full day with plenty of great updates from the world of PlayStation, so we’ll look forward to seeing you then.

I don’t get it, all the europeans know English and still they keep asking for multiple languages. What is the big downside of Europe … multiple languages.
And if you want to have european language don’t leave anybody out : dutch is a language aswell
games release sooner in VS because the english language.
and what are you going to do with this blog ? give a translation of every article in the blog ? or only a translation of the links and master page texts ?
It is the same with dubbing movies and series. just keep it in originale language !

Very true, fact is every country in Europe teaches English in schools, and I’m fed up of having to wait 6+ months for content that is available in English in other regions (I’m looking at you, SQUARE ENIX!)

Hey SCEE. I like the layout! Market research tell you Europeans are more for this modern look?
Anyways, I would really like to hear about our version the progress of playstation features that are already available for US users, such as the video store, life with playstation, and also maybe a little about the VidZone.

Will also say my congrats on a great first day, and dare I say it, great job SCEE. Really impressed with the look, the feel and the support the blog is getting.
There are still other pressing issues SCEE need to attend to but today, spotlight is on the blog and im loving it so far so full marks guys. I’m impressed.

You have done well. I love the light and friendly look of the Blog. Please always consider PS3 browser compatibility; It’s very annoying going to an Official PlayStation/SONY website with the PS3 only to have problems.
Will this be a place for honest feedback from SCEE? So often we feel as if nobody (SONY) is listening to our concerns etc. It would be nice to know we are heard. Cheers and Long Live this Blog.

Any news on The Last Guy trophy patch? It’s comfirmed for US today, but no sign in Europe. Will we be getting it at the same time? I love the game, but don’t want to play it until the patch is out, for fear of having to replay levels I have already done, just so I can get trophies…

Hello all – great to see SCEE catching up with our American friends! Blog looks great (love the design!) and I look forward to more days like this first one!
Hopefully developers will no longer be able to announce US specific news on the US blog without giving us Europeans something relating to us!
Any chance we could have a ‘meet the team’ post so we can get to know our EU Blog hosts like we know Jeff and Chris in the US?

The one thing that used to [DELETED] me off was how you could find out what was on the Euro Store quicker on other sites like PS3fanboy and even the US blog sometimes before we got the Euro news (MB put a stop to that thougt).
however, when i saw the singstar/Store update blogs one here, i smiled like a cheshire cat.
This blog is a real piece of work. All the techie people/content providers/coders/cleaners in the offices and all the other people involed with creating and launching this blog should pat themselves on the back. not for a job well done but for a perfect job.
Also, i think the community also should pat them selves on the back. Some were measured in their requests for this blog and other were not so reserved. However, they are both the voice of the communtiy annd even though i am more on the measured side a community is about diversity. This blog shows that diversity can work together to a common end. Sony are listening…

Well at last its here…… at SCEE blog!!!
I look forward to hearing all the news here first.
I just hope you regularly post answers to questions you’ll be getting hit with, as SCEE communication with its fans has been lacking some what.
Personally, i’d like to know when the Blast Factor Trophy patch will be released?
There is a massive thread on the EU forum about this and some news on it would be greatly appreciated, as it has been out for 6 months now in the US and even the developers Bluepoint have just stated it is with SCEE!??
The same goes for the Last Guy trophy patch even though i realise this has only just come out?
I’m looking forward to hearing from those in the know at SCEE!
