To help you get settled and find your way around our brand new, shiny blog, here’s a quick tour of some of the main features you’ll most likely be using as a regular blog visitor and comment contributor.
If you haven’t already, have a read of our Welcome post to give you an idea of what this blog is all about. Otherwise, on with the tour (just imagine that I’m brandishing an umbrella in the air in proper tour guide style).
Getting Around
Wondering how you can find out more about that game you’ve just been reading about?
At the end of every blog post, you’ll find lists of the Categories and Tags that the post is filed under; just click on the Category or Tag title to view all of the other blog content in that group. You can also select the Categories and peruse the monthly blog Archives from the menu on the right.
There won’t be a huge bunch of blog content in these categories at the moment, but as we add more and more blog updates they will soon start to fill up.
Keeping up-to-date
To help you keep track of the latest blog posts and find out what we’re generally up to, you can subscribe to the blog via RSS, receive daily blog digests via Email, or you can follow us on Twitter if you have an account. Just pick your preference from the options near the top-right of the blog page.
Posting Comments
Anyone can rate blog posts but if you want to create comments you’ll need to sign in with your PlayStation Network (PSN) Online ID. If you don’t already have a PSN ID, click here to create one.
We do have a Comments Policy, so please read through this before adding your first comment to the conversation, and our team of moderators will be helping to keep things on-topic and friendly. Just make sure that your comment is free from flaming, swearing or other naughty stuff and you should be fine.
Scrolling down the page, you’ll see that we also have feeds from PlayStation.com, reader comments and a collection of PlayStation news and links from around the web. And you’ll also be able to find all of the videos, screenshots and images used in our blog posts on our Flickr and Viddler accounts.
Over time, we’ll be looking to add in more features to help you get the most out of PlayStation.Blog.Europe, so keep an eye out for more fun stuff in the future or post your suggestions of what you’d like to see in the Comments.
Thanks and happy exploring.

All looks good so far, only thing missing is an author reply count in the comments section, but I really dont care about that at the moment, the site is great. RSS is already in my reader.

Thanks, balaenidae.
The author reply count is there as soon as the author responds. You should see it now.

I wonder why nobody is asking the question……”[DELETED], why did we have to wait Y-E-A-R-S for this to happen?” What is it with Sony and their obsession of segregating the different regions so completely? Take ‘Home’ for example, how come Europe is so far behind the US in content? No wonder Sony are haemorrhaging cash at the moment, people are getting sick and tired of waiting for features and content that has either been out on competing platforms for ages or is only available to our overseas cousins! A very strange way to run a business, that’s for sure!

I’m hoping you guys can weather the storm, us ps3 owners at europe are very mad at SCEE for many reasons….
PSN slow updates
No Video Service
Old version of Home
almost 0% marketing for ps3 games in UK
I don’t want to shoot the messenger… but could the messenger pass these complaints on? thanks

Any plans on developing a Mac OSX Dashboard Widget like the US Playstation Blog has? I use the one for the US Blog a lot, I’d love to see the same for the EU Blog.

I think you guys have done a fantastic job.
Not only does it look lush your showing as does that you do listen to wait we Europe have to say which is great.
I feel like SCEE really do wanna trait us as equals.
Well done and great job Charlotte and every one else at SCEE.

Finally.
Information we can trust for Europe.
The blog is looking very nice. Hope to see some nice features comming up (trophy support ???).
one remarque : isn’t the *report Abuse to a Moderator* not a big to much :s in every post there’s a link, which is to big and ugly
.
can’t you replace it to a small button “report” or somithing like that.
keep up the good work

It’s great to have an official European blog. Been following the us blog and will continue to do so, but it’s much better to have a blog dedicated to us here in europe. Nice to see a european twitter account aswell.

Wow this is Nice, will the RSS here be linked to PSN RSS? I’m glad you guys got this together. Hopefully we’ll see more connectivity between the main site, here and Playstation so it’s instantly accessible without going through the web browser. Kind Of a Quick Access Idea. I hope there will be E3 coverage and you will point out what applies to us in EU and what doesn’t. Thanks guys you’ve done a good job.

You should add a ‘Friends’ section to the sidebar with links to other useful, independant PlayStation sites such as TheSixthAxis.
