Hello everyone, my name is James and I have the exciting – and I’ll admit, slightly scary – task of reporting from this year’s E3 in sunny California. I’ve been writing for eu.playstation.com for some time now and am looking forward to cutting my blog teeth in the City of Angels as one of the contributing authors.
I’ll be bringing you the big stories as they happen, as well as providing an overall feel of the event and stirring up some epic conversation with you, the PlayStation Community.
Keep an eye on our Twitter and Flickr feeds for breaking stories and any juicy morsels that spring to mind from the show floor, as well as pictures – if I catch any Kratos and Nariko cosplayers canoodling in the cafeteria, you’ll be the first to know.
I’ll be posting video interviews courtesy of my new friends over at SCEA’s PlayStation Blog . We will be producing our own video content soon enough and they’re going to be helping us out while we get on our feet – we will be in their back garden, after all.
If you are making the trip to E3 then please come over and say hello, salut, tag, hola, ciao, ahoj, hallo, moi, yia sou, hej, cześć, servus, bună ziua or any other greeting I’ve forgotten; I’ll be the one with a camera and a nervous look, until the first E3 post goes live on June 1, at least.

More interesting PSN games like flower
I would also like to see some more games/software on the PSP to make me pick the thing back up!

im looking forward to a lot of games , i think sony has lots of things to show since they have shown Uncharted 2 , MAG, Heavy Rain , Motorstorm Arctic Edge and they have unveiled the new greatest hits for the ps3 , all those news could have easily been part of the show , i hope sony impress this E3

Mmm well there are so many great games on the way this year I almost feel sorry for you having to try and keep up to date in that small time! …but not that sorry
Anything on MAG, Heavy Rain, Uncharted 2, a new MGS, more KZ2 DLC(?), Bioshock 2, Gran Turismo 5, Rachet and Clank ACIT and Jak and Daxter *crosses fingers* would be greatly appreciated. Good luck!

Glad to see that the EU Blog will be providing coverage of E3, I’m really looking forward to this years coverage – I have a feeling it will be a big one!
Have you got any plans to stream the press conference at all? I was wondering if the new EU HOME “Events Landing” space that went online recently would be used to feed E3 content? It would be great to sit and watch the press conference on that big screen in Home and discuss it with other people in that space!
It’s broadcast around 7pm/8pm Europe time so it’s a perfect time for us Europeans to watch it live!

One thing that would be great is an interview with Hideo Kojima. Hes been playing with our MGS-hungry minds and I cant wait to find out what hes going to announce.
Also anything Uncharted 2 related would be excellent.
Dont forget Heavy Rain, MAG and God of War 3.
The line-up for PS3 is amazing this year, so I cant see how you can go wrong.

I still haven’t gotten around to playing Resistance: Retribution, believe it or not, so hopefully that will help the 11 hours pass more quickly.

As much info as you can grab on Uncharted 2 and Kojima’s next Metal Gear project would be great. There are so many other games I’m intrested in but those are on the top of my list. Man I wish I could be there. We kiwis always get the short end of the stick when it comes to new games or release dates. Ah well. Cant wait till all this E3 coverage comes pooring out. Try and get as much info as you can but above all enjoy yourself James.

I would would like rather like to see the same as Caemgen (above me) post 50.
PS3 is really missing cross game voice chat and many of my friends think this needs to be implemented.
I also have been wanting skype support for some time on ps3 as it would be the perfect application as i have my ps eye set up! It a shame its on psp but not ps3 at the mo.

I know this is a real long shot but if you could ask Namco about the possibility of bringing Tales of Vesperia to the PS3 in either the US or Europe I would be eternally grateful!

Hi James,
A couple of things you *might* be able to get answers for
- Is there going to be a UK release of Demons Souls? ( I had to import it and i know how much of a desire there is to see this game in the UK, just check out the Eurogamer comments section of their review for example http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/demons-souls-review )
- What on earth is going on with the Disgea 3 trophy patch release for the EU? Its been along time coming and seems to have gone quiet…
- Do we know *if* the Video/Tv store is coming to the UK/EU *any* information would be great!
- More information on MAG would be awesome, actual information seems to be thin with only a few screenshots and press releases to go on.
- My GF would be rather happy with more information on the promised Singstar “extras”. Such as new game modes, backdrops etc that were mentioned before in interviews and press releases.
- Fat Princess, any information on this (release dates etc) would be great
- Alien Breed, i heard Team 17 were working on a PSN/LIVE version of this, can you find out more?
- APB – this new version really interests me, but i havent even seen a screenshot yet, anything infowise would be great!

Looking forward to seeing a (rolling) demo of GT5, and any word on possible upcoming GTAIV patches and dlc. I know Rockstar isn’t attending E3, but theres plenty of other partners there who could shed some light on what’s to come

Hi, I’m very interested in when Europe will be getting the TV and Movie download service the US has had for a while. Thinking of cancelling my sky subscription, so then with PlayTV I’d only need one box under my TV!
