Hello everyone, my name is James and I have the exciting – and I’ll admit, slightly scary – task of reporting from this year’s E3 in sunny California. I’ve been writing for eu.playstation.com for some time now and am looking forward to cutting my blog teeth in the City of Angels as one of the contributing authors.
I’ll be bringing you the big stories as they happen, as well as providing an overall feel of the event and stirring up some epic conversation with you, the PlayStation Community.
Keep an eye on our Twitter and Flickr feeds for breaking stories and any juicy morsels that spring to mind from the show floor, as well as pictures – if I catch any Kratos and Nariko cosplayers canoodling in the cafeteria, you’ll be the first to know.
I’ll be posting video interviews courtesy of my new friends over at SCEA’s PlayStation Blog . We will be producing our own video content soon enough and they’re going to be helping us out while we get on our feet – we will be in their back garden, after all.
If you are making the trip to E3 then please come over and say hello, salut, tag, hola, ciao, ahoj, hallo, moi, yia sou, hej, cześć, servus, bună ziua or any other greeting I’ve forgotten; I’ll be the one with a camera and a nervous look, until the first E3 post goes live on June 1, at least.
Anyhow, SCEE’s PlayStation Blog is as new to you as it is to me and now I’ve introduced myself, it’s over to you. Post a comment telling us which games you’re aching to learn more about, or if you have any special assignments you’d like to see me take on, and I’ll do my best.

Hi BalramRules,
Yer a video store for the ps store has been out for about a year in america but after serveral promises it still hasn’t reached europe.
The last i heard was in one of last years monthly OPM magazines who said it should be here before january 2009. How wrong they were
.
Come on SCEE you have such a great platform and some amazing tallent its just these little bits that count now!
Lets beat the XBOX once and for all
.
I also think that cross game voice chat is a needed if you want your sales to beat microsofts in every region. But im sure your team is working on something now.
Thanks SONY,
Im looking forward to lods of games like: MAG, Gran turismo 5, GOWIII and all the stuff that not announced yet. Its sure to be amazing!
Ill be watching it on the internet
Enjoy, i wish i was going
Elliot

Great! Thanks for confirming that the Press Conference will be streamed into the HOME Presentation Podium, I look forward to hearing more, it would be awesome if it was near-live coverage!
It’s really nice to be able to get such quick feedback directly from the people in the know, you are surpassing even the US blog in terms of comment responses!
Keep up the good work!

For me its all about being genuinley surprised. We know about a huge number of fantastic games that are on the way (uncharted,GT5,GOW3 to name but a few).
I want to be blown away by a couple of new IPs, as well something to match what microsoft have done with Netflix, a video store in the Uk would be priceless as well.
As for the New PSP please make it smaller and have a phone onboard, if this was possible then remote play becomes the way forward
finally any inovation on Home would be great is there any chance of public voice chat coming back? then it would offer a genuine oppurtunity to offer social intereaction.
anyway i’ll shut up now.
I hope you enjoy yourself in LA

“You will be able to watch the SCEA press conference in Home, in a new space called the Presentation Podium. We’re still waiting for confirmation of when.”
Well, shouldn’t it be when the press conference is happening? Seriously, if SCE can’t live stream the conference in Home then it is a fail with a capital F. It makes Home redundant. There is no point going through the hassle of firing up Home just to watch old news that is readily available on the Internet.

The most important question I would like you to find an answer to is: what is the release date for the European movie store?
Maybe you can´t find the answer in E3 but that´s the most important thing for me anyway.
I hope you have a nice time i Los Angeles!

I’m just curious James as to how much you know about what is going to be announced by Sony at E3. I realise you aren’t going to reveal anything here, but I’m just curious. Also, if you do know what will be announced, can I have your address!

Moi!
Looking forward to E3! Can’t wait hearing about these:
Final Fantasy (Versus) XIII
Ratchet & Clank: A Crack in Time
God of War 3 (Collector’s Edition)
Uncharted 2
Modern Warfare 2
And, hmm… what else…
Kojima’s mysterious next game, of course!
And then I’ve got one question: Do you know how fast PS Store will get trailers and interviews from E3 to download?
Thanks!
Oh and btw, anyone here want FFXIII to have a Japanise voice option? I’d love it! For those who are interested, here’s a link to IGN’s Final Fantasy Reader Q&A:

Hi James,
Will the E3 event be available to download on the Playstation Store as a video like last time?
Also, could you try to find out more information on MGS5, Uncharted 2 and MAG?
Finally, could you ask when Europe is going to get the video download store that the US got at last E3? Is Vidzone our equivelent or is that different?
Thanks.
