Hi all,
Just a quick update form the WipEout HD team: our artists have been mucking about with the game’s photo mode and have taken some frankly beautiful shots of the new modes, ships and tracks you will be playing in the forthcoming Fury expansion pack. They were so good, we just had to share them.
See all 10 new images over on Flickr.
Let us know what you think! We’ll have more info for you about the expansion pack soon.
Thanks,
Paul

This looks great, WipEout HD is a pure gem! Normally I don’t buy any DLC but for this and Motorstorm Pacific Rift I’ll definitely make an exception.
Are you guys working on a new COLONY WARS title for PS3? That’d be great! I already mentioned this on the PSP GO! question thread, it would make perfect business sense releasing a space opera title on the PS3, because there ain’t any on all the next gen consoles.
You can send me a PM if the answer to this question isn’t for the public yet, I wouldn’t spill the beans
… actually I really wouldn’t.

Hi Yeroon,
One thing to note is that with the Fury expansion pack, ALL tracks including the original HD tracks will be unlocked from the start and freely playable from Racebox and Online. So you will be able to play and practice every single track without the need to progress through the Campaign to unlock them.
As for making the game easier, we did a lot with HD to try be more inclusive. We added pilot assist to help players avoid the track side walls and included three independently selectable difficulty settings for each and every event in the Campaign.
In the new Fury Campaign we have also made a conscious effort to make the Novice difficulty setting more accessible to all.
Fundamentally WipEout is about incredible speed. As you progress through the game you also progress through the speed classes and some of them are very fast and require a lot of practice and patience.
I hope this addresses some of your concerns and encourages you to play on.
Thanks for playing,
Paul and the WipEout team.

Hi Encodedfun,
Thanks for the positive comments, they are much appreciated.
The new grafic style has been applied to the Fury tracks only, the original HD tracks remain unchanged..
In addition, we have also added 4 new zone specific tracks that we will be describing in more detail on this blog in the next few weeks.
All the best
Tony & the Team

Hi everyone,
Just a quick note to say that this fix went live this morning.
It was a server-side fix so no patch is necessary.
You all should be able to login in with your accounts now.
Thanks,
Paul.

Mr Paul Tweedle,
I am sure you will appreciate that we are all very exicted about the imminent Fury pack and as such when will you be in a position to announce a release date and price?!
