Do you know if/when the Spyro games will be coming to the UK PlayStation Store?

Also, if they dont work perfectly or have glitches/bugs, can you fix them with a small compatibility fix within the PSOne game itself?

I noticed with Final Fantasy VII, I have the disc version, and the sound effects can sometimes mess up, but when I play the PlayStation Store version the problems are gone – which is great but was there something within the download to help it?

No bomberman or heavy weapon? US got them last week. MS always release there games worldwide so why can’t Sony?? I really don’t get it… It also seems all Sony care about PSP these days PS3 is always second on the list there are more PSP games on there now than PS3 games! I been a long loyal supporter of Sony but EU Sony members always get screwed on content and everything else. US get all the perks like a magazine, early releases (not just PSN games in stores too) and more content. Why oh why do we get treated like second best?

Not a great update, but being a PS3 user since a few weeks after launch, I’ve seen FAR worse updates. Not to say I’m not bitterly disappointed with the entire playstation online experience over here:

I too have been a PS3 owner since launch but 360 owners get a new game every week and we get one if were lucky and on randoms dates. I really feel like trading in my PS3 I mean I used to be a BETA tester which was great but I somehow got knocked off the list. Crap like this has just ruined the experience for me and E3 was all PSP showing where Sonys future lies and its not with the PS3.

This might cheer people up a bit. Anyone who as bionic commado rearmed may have read the blog a few weeks ago where it was stsated trophies would not be coming to the game.

Well thanks to a lot of people moaning (after all capcom said they would be coming when it came out) it turns out trophies will be coming out after all!

Thats a hell of a lot of languages, and all content needs to be localised. So before you lot decide to shoot the messenger, take that into consideration. Grrr I was hoping to get some new fresh games this weekend. I thought or rather hoped that Bomberman, Heawy Weapon or Fat Princess was going to be released?

I still have Valkyrie Chornicles and inFAMOUS to bear, FFVII to replay, Wipeout HD last track to get gold in all the circuits…PixelJunk Eden and Monsters to beat…and I don’t know what else LOL

I have no complaints, I think we get enough stuff! or at least for me that I’m father of 2. Love my PS3!

Well… This week was possibly the worst PSN update I have ever seen.

Still, I wouldn’t be fussed if Bomberman was released on the EU store… but it hasnt? Why is that?

Ive heard that the testing process for the EU is DOUBLE the time for the USA?… Sorry, but thats rather pathetic.

For everyone who is complaining about Fat Princess not being released in the EU: I’ve checked American, HK, and New Zealand psn stores… like the guy said global release date… I know this has been asked many times, but I haven’t found an answer: can you give us the price in US dollars that Fat Princess will cost?

So what’s goin on with Vidzone? Do we not get the hugely long weekly update posts like the American video store does? Or does it not get updated on a weekly basis?

Just wondering how to check when new stuff has been added to the service..

a bit off topic. but a long while ago Cool Boarders 2 was released on the Store, but it didn’t work. Will it be reappearing?

America just got Metal Gear Solid!!!!

Like always Europe get’s the bad end of the stick when the is the Video store coming out i want to buy some films.

Damn i wish we had People working for SCEA instead of the people who work for SCEE lets see, we get a an overly late blog we get a crappy version of home lacking stuff that SCEA Home have and we get a PSN store that seems to be always behind SCEJ and SCEA.

O and we get lazy answers most of the time. I’m sure you guys are working as hard as you can and i don’t blame you i blame the Head of SCEE i thought things would get better after David Revees left boy was i wrong.

Yes we have had some good days but that’s only because we get stuff that’s been lacking for along time or delayed when it comes to the release date so when we get lots of stuff it looks like its a great week.

If Microsoft can treat the EU store the same as the US store for the 360. Why can’t the Sony isn’t just stupidity or incompetents, i really don’t understand.

i think the work you do is great, so dont get me wrong when i say that im just dispointed with the fact that sony seems to care very little about their european region! when realeases are consitently behind or non exsitent compared to the content in the japanese and american stores, espcailly with PS1 titles .. and it really does feel like compared to other regions sony simply does not care about us as a market.. and i no its beyond your powers to do anything about this, thus making this comment completely pointless other than voicing my opnion in frustration to the fact that our american cousins will be playing metal gear solid tonight grrr …lol

Hmmmm. I have a friend and he has created an account for the USA PSN Store, buys and downloads them to his psp no problem. The only thing is he already has ps1 classics he got on his psp from the EU store, so everytime he wants to play either a EU or US ps1 classic he has to connect to the PSN Network and change his PSP Certificate thing so he can play the other region ones.

Why dont you all just do that?

Hey Mike I have a cool idea – as the UK isn’t connected to mainland Europe how about a store that isn’t connected to a ‘mainland Europe’ one? You can even cheat, you just use a find and replace function in the US store changing $ signs for £ signs! You could even go a step further moving any servers or equipment for the UK PSN store onto a rack of its own and surround it by water. With the state of a lot of youths spelling these days I’m sure no one would notice things like color and whatever aluminum is…

Keep up the good work, kinda disappointed about Fat Princess but it seems that most things that are delayed or missing are third party items so I guess some things are just out of your control. Hope things are better controlled once the PSPgo rolls out, I’ll break something if I don’t get GT PSP on release day (and I hope at a reasonable price too!)

Could you get us some word on the patches, I’ve seen them mentioned lots but no reply.
Do SCEE realise people stop playing the games when they hear of the patches, and then don’t buy further games as we feel a bit ripped off. We pay more and get less. It happens time and time again, and then someone comes out and says how important a territory Europe is to SCE. They should try showing it.

god damn i was so happy with SCEE for getting us FF VII but now you have to get us MGS, you do make it hard for yourselves to be loved don’t you, there is a huge amount of hate in these comments.

No point in moaning, no one at SCEE takes any notice.

Thankfully I still have my original MGS1, I knew it wouldn’t come to the EU store yet, we’ll probably have to wait a few weeks. There is one thing I really want to know though, when will we get the video store? This was completely ignored at E3 and I would love a response.

US get everything not fair on EU really :/

Theres 2 games which i really want on the PSN store Resident Evil 2 and 3 but im just optimistic and i cant see it happening in the future.

Suzzopher is right, I’m VERY close to never buy ANYTHING in my eu account again and then go solely US store. I find incredible that SCEE and SCEA don’t have simultaneous releases. It’s just like the loose trophy support last year. Why not just FORCE these companies to do worldwide releases instead of playing “Well, it’s not our fault” card. It’s one thing if a game is late. It’s quite another if it’s released in another region, it makes absolutely NO sense to your customer base. I realize this isn’t your fault but as Sony’s European voice you’re unfortunately the one who has to listen to our rambling. Realize that the problem your facing isn’t angry customers because what you try to sell us is not what we want, it’s because you withhold the things we want to buy.

To be honest, I’ve given up on Sony Europe. All my purchases are now through the US PSN Store and their code cards are easily available through eBay. I’ve just actually transfered MGS to my PSP, vote with your feet people, buy from the US PSN Store and ignore Sony Europe the same way they’re ignoring you.

Also, this never happens on the 360.

To me it feels like you don’t want my money which is not the best business model in the world. Sony should realize that the world is no longer divided in regions, The internet HAS actually made the world smaller. Isn’t there at least ONE person at Sony that thought “How will people react to this?”.

I’m honestly a very patient person but this is just getting to be too much. First I had to wait for months for an update to get online in HVB and that’s a Sony game and now this. It’s completely and utterly ridiculous and unnecessary, there’s not ONE good reason why it works like this except bad management and poor planning.

Was hoping for bomberman personally this week.
