Re Ghostbusters review;

The developers of Ghostbusters should be raked over the coals for their graphically poor sub HD PS3 version, especially after announcing PS3 would be the lead platform. Sony need a good boot up the rear too, this far into the gen PS3 owners shouldn’t still be getting inferior multiplat games. Especially Ghostbusters, it’s a Sony owned IP for goodness sake!

A lot of good links there. I’m not convinced about the Eyepet though. It just seems like a way for Sony to connect with the casual market. The only reason I would use it is if Sony integrated it into Playstation Home or some first-party games

i completely agree with you mate, lately sony has been sliding back to there old ways of becoming too lax with s**t you’d think someone in the company would pull up the things they know the internet would notice eg like the comparisions and the resolutions and stuff.. they know that PS3 and also Xbox gamers are getting alot more fussy with there £300+ mechine and want the best.. not seconds! week in week out theres constant mistakes from sony

heres an example of a few of there mistakes:

1. leaks before E3. if M$ can keep things quite why cant SCEE
2. Home and lack of content..
3. Home apartment fiasco of it being free to a few 1000 users then the rest of us had to pay for it
4. the maddness with US home where they had a give away for free codes for bomberman ULTRA
5. EU as to wait a extra few weeks for MGS1 with no explanation?!
6. activison boss qoutes ruining PS3 name.
7. new blue PSP 3000 was released this week yet the PSPgo is out in a few months?! hmmmm…

I can go on forever.

sony, grow some. Im a massive PS3 fanboy (lol.. oh come on, we all are) and hate to get all this flak and knowing some of it is actually true.

what sony NEEDS to do is:

1. advertise.. all i ever hear on TV is ( “…so n so is out on XBOX 360….”)

2. sort out our shoddy ports

3. sort out Gunstar Heros online features… fix it, it doesnt work.

4. release the PS3 network cards already!

5. release an official headset or keypad with a PS3

6. decrease the prices of items for home ever so slightly.

7. lower the price on dev kits

8. Give support to every game dev equally. not just the big names.

COME ON SONY! dont make us do your job for you.

The EU Store update was crap last week. Basically had nothing.

I wish we were on a level playing field with the US and Japanese Stores, they get so much more than we do, and the things we both get the same, they’ll get earlier too.

Also, should have some more PSN one-week only price cuts on various things every Thursday. That’d be pretty cool and would generate quite a bit of money from people taking advantage of the deals.

*sigh*…….. SCEE are going to ruin Ps3 -_-

yeah make the we recommend section on psn store have specials for the week.
so many times i have wanted to buy the brain challenge game set or some other games but they are too much. i buy heaps of games too i have over 30 psn games. be like steam.. have a sale for the weekend on certain games then some people will buy them. they they will tell there friends workmates during the week and they will buy it too at full price because they missed the sale.
can you bring more casual bluray games to psn like a psn version of buzz. i always goto buy it in store but i get embarrassed about buying it. i just finished infamous.. the sequal will be awesome.. can you release the comics on psn?

@ MairusuPawa – that’s the exact reason i dumped Linux off the drive and reformatted it, i do A LOT of graphics stuff and the PS3 just failed with the lack of RSX support, such a waste for me personally, i would loved to have carried out my art on a console.

@ Charlotte – how about giving us small sites some airtime too, i know Sony has stopped writing the cheques but we at http://threespeech.co.cc aren’t dead yet y’know. you can have as many cookies as you like if you name drop us

Uncharted was a great showcase for the future of PS3 and the franchise, can’t wait to see how the final game turns out!
