Welcome to the new SingStore update! So, I’m really excited about one thing in particular: the brand new and exclusive Take That SongPack is arriving in the SingStore this week! Yay!

Hello!
I would like to add my suggestions:
1 – Complete words, that means without them being divided by sylabus, sometimes it’s hard for me to read in english, specially whith rap songs.
2 – Japanese songs please, I know it’s not a supported region, but many friends of mine are japanesse and they would like to join with songs they (and I) like, something like Hirai Ken with “Even if” or “Furu to Kei”, Chemistry “This night”, Utada Hikaru “First Love”, Cristal Kay “Konna Chikaku De..”, so many!
3 – Please add classics like Nirvana, Metallica, Madonna, Michael Jackson, The Doors, Sade (please, not a true romance night without it!!!), Bob Marley (jamming / easy skanking… , really anything would be cool), Stevie Wonder (Part Time Lover) and finally if you’ve added Tino Casal, you should really add “Eloise”, his most popular song.
5 – A version of the songs, or at least some, whihout the singer’s voice. I understand they might not like it, but sometimes it would be cool to make up your own version.
This are all sugestions, but it’s what my friends and I keep talking about when playing singstar. Other than that, I love this game and I can’t wait till next update!

Seriously, guys get some oasis songs on there pronto, I think it would be good for everyone
- We get great karaoke classics like wonderwall, cigerettes & alcohol, dont look back in anger etc
- You get stacks of cash cos everyone will has at least one oasis song they love and will download (come on singstar fans admit it)
I alone could see me buyin at least 10-15 songs if they were available.
- Noel will get even richer off royalties
See win win win situation for all.
If this is out of your control who do we need to badger to make it happen?
For balance more Madonna & Micheal Jackson would make good karaoke

oh, and forgot to mention I love playin singstar but sometimes younger childen dont know any songs so more childrens songs would let kids get more into it while allowng adults to also enjoy singing.
Perfect example is the disney pack out on ps2 disks.

I’m sure after a couple of drinks as many adults would have laugh singing disney songs also which would make for some fun online singstar feeds.

Hey Nina any chance of a BON JOVI SINGSTAR OR MUSICICAL SINGSTAR (Greece, sound of music etc) Packs or Games????
Also I’m disappionted when i bought Singstar Queen packs 1 + 2 and all the songs that were avalible at the time back when they first came out on the singstore. A few months later singstar queen was announced with many of the same songs on. I’m feel hard done by because you now get singstar queen for a little as £10 were i’ve now spent £20 so far and still missing some of the best songs in there collection which are I WANT TO BREAK FREE/UNDER PRESSURE/I’M GOING SLIGHTLY MAD.
Would there be a possibilty for a week only a offer to download a Queen song pack containing some of the remain songs which are missing from the singstore for those people who have bought all the song packs 1,2 and 3 because i feel a ripped off.

It’s sometimes not as easy as I’d like it to be. Unfortunately, we can’t just release everything from a disc onto the store – again most of the time that is out of our hands.
There are two more Queen songpacks coming your way this year though so I hope you’ll be looking forward to that. They also each have an exclusive track in them which has not been on the disc!

Oh and lastly .. 3 posts in a row i know i’m being greedy.
Nina it may not be in your job remit but can you possibly let us know if there is any plans on a patch which would allow us to virtually store our entire library on the hard drive.
I know it wont be possible to store the actual data content on there. What i was thinking was a patch whereby we can put all of our discs in one at a time (it scans the disc as it does now and adds it to the caraousel and remebers each tune, once we’ve done that for each disc we own we then have a complete caraousel.
When we then play if we select a song to play and it either isnt a downloaded one or on the disc that is currently in the PS3 the game would give us a message like ‘please insert the singstar R & B disc into the PS3 to play that song’ etc .. it’s quite annoying having 20 discs or so and having to play one at a time .. so many of my parties and singign sessions are dictated by the game that is in the machine rather than what people want to sing, im forever changing the discs anyway so it’s not going to be such a major chore in the grand scheme of things.

I think a feature like this would be a great addition to an already fantasic franchise. I would love to see my singstar caraousel with all 550 songs that i own rather than just the 30 on the disc and the 50 ive got on the hard drive from downloading.
Like i said .. since it would only be making a virtual memory of all your discs / songs it would mean that you would have to retain the original game disc to insert when needed. Hence minimalsiing the risk of piracy etc.
Please let me know as i am a HUGEEEEEEEEEE Singstar fan and love the evolution of this game
PS – Your Facebook singstar page (has over 150,000 fans) really needs a revamp as it’s dead! With 150,000 fans on there someoen really should be making a bit more effort and using it as an effective tool for us fans. Cheers

This is a truly amazing title and the recent additions including Disney classics show SingStar is aiming to give everyone a chance to croon to atune they know, but to many of us it’s still sadly lacking an essential genre – musicals! Why no Andrew Lloyd Webber or ‘Sound of Music’? I’m sure ‘White Christmas’ would do very well at Christmastide. Please fill in this gaping chasm of the library and make Singstar perfect!

Hi – very sorry but this is the only PS2 disc that cannot be read by the PS3 and it therefore the exception to the rule when it comes to disc swap. It is to do with the way it was produced so I’m afraid you will have to get your PS2 out of the attic again.

Hi Nina, I have waited a long time for songs by The King of Pop (yes, Michael Jackson) arriving on SingStore. And now after his tragic death I believe people once again are ready for this legend.
I do know Billie Jean exists on Vol. 3 but I would like more songs: Smooth Criminal, Thriller, Bad, Man in the Mirror, They Don’t Care About Us, You Rock My World, Don’t Stop ‘Til You Get Enough, Black or White, We Are the World (with Lionel Richie), Say Say say (with Sir Paul McCartney) and so on…

Plenty of great songs as per usual.Can I just put a couple of sudgestions forward for future updates.Can we have more rock songs eg: Reef (place your hands on, good feeling, as just 2 examples), Creed, Pearl Jam, Red hot chili peppers and stone temple pilots (plush is an excellant song). And how about some more Classic Rock eg : The who, the stones, Creedance clearwater revival, the animals and bad company. And as a last thought, how about more soundtrack songs, the best example would be THE BLUES BROTHERS. Thanks for listening

What are the chances of a song pack or complete disc for the king of pop, Michael Jackson? The man was a legend and there would be no more appropriate time for a release, extraordinary circumstances so an extraordinary release not sceduled in the fortnightly release would be great.
Also will the crystal mics ever get a general release?
