Hey all, and welcome to this week’s store update. I just wanted to firstly acknowledge that there was quite a bit of disappointment with last week’s update; whilst we do try and ensure we have great content every week sometimes there will be a lull in the release schedule, so all I ask is that you please be patient with us when we do have quieter weeks.
Onto this week and a mix of content that should feature something for everyone. There’s reason to celebrate Super Stardust’s 2nd year anniversary for those of you who have yet to download the game, for one week only you can download the game for a really low price! Puzzle game Zuma is now available, and for those of you with an addictive personality this one will keep you coming back again and again. There’s also something ‘beardy’ for LBP users too, amongst other things
Finally, I also have some good news for our French users; Final Fantasy VII will be available to you this week! Get ready to lose many hours of your life to this classic time consuming RPG.
Enjoy!

Another poor update again, thanksfully as i mentioned last week I bought FF7 from the US store instead of wating for SCEE to “fix” what ever was wrong with the french version, and I was happily playing the game on my PSP while on holiday.
Seriously 50 PSone games before the end of he year, I bet this once again only applies to the US store.
As for MGS it might be upto Konami to release it in other regions SCEE however should be communicating with then to get them to release it in other regions, after all what company does not want to make more money on a game that sold quite well when it was first released.

If the delays in the appearance of the games in Europe are the publisher’s fault – let Sony issue statement – “Dear Publisher, we are not going to sell your game until you are ready for all regions”. And see how the problem solves itself
Where’s the Bomberman Ultra…. (weep)

OK, did some reading on Hudson Bomberman forum, they say:
“We’re on track to see a release this Summer sometime. It’s undergoing the rigors of testing right now. Europe can take longer due to testing in multiple languages, but we hope you’ll be playing it before the summer is out. Short answer, yes it’s coming =] ”
On the same forum I also found an opinion I agree with:
“It isn’t necessary for Hudson, or any other developer for that matter, to make a multi-language European release. Most people in non-English speaking European countries also speak English, or can navigate menu with them. I think by the time it reaches the European marketplace, the hype for it will have deteriorated, defeating the entire purpose of the release in the first place.”

You must be sick and tired of that copy and paste comment… but seriousely, where is the justification in having a US release priced at $9.99 and the EU version €9.99 … look at the Apple store, differend prices.. all fare. I’m sure Sony want to be fair to it’s EU users too
