It’s been almost exactly one month since we launched the PlayStation.Blog on Thursday 28 May. In those few weeks, we’ve had great fun bringing you news from E3, developer previews and interviews, PS Home updates, PlayStation Store and SingStore releases, game trailers and screenshot galleries, and oh so much more.
So a big “thank you” to all of our Blog contributors who’ve posted these updates and responded to your questions: and, of course to you guys – the commenters, readers, Twitter-followers, Viddler-viewers, and everybody else who has shown their support and helped make our first month such a success.
But where do we go from here? Looking ahead, we’re still on track to launch the new language versions of the Blog before gamescom, the videogame festival and games industry trade fair that’s running between 19-23 August in Cologne, Germany. As with E3, you can expect us to be at the show to provide you with daily updates on everything that’s going on.
In the meantime, we’d love to hear your thoughts on the Blog so far – what you’ve particularly liked, or even anything that’s left you wondering “huh?” – and what you’d like to see from us in the future. I’ve seen some requests for more interviews with the Studios and more screenshot exclusives, similar to our WipEout HD Fury update a while back – use the comments below to moot your ideas and suggestions, and we’ll see what we can do!

… and I just realised (reading my comment above) I really need the ability to go back into acomment previously posted and make changes. In that way you can take out any typos you get from using the PS3 clipon keyeboard
And BOLD and Italic plus an Emoticon-selector would aso be appretiated.

the euro blog has been a wonderful success so far, i was a little sceptical at first because it seemed like sony virtually ignored it’s european and australian users and only catered to the american and japanese user base, we finally have a voice, thanks for all the hard work and keep it up guys

I’ll give it 5 more months before SCEE forgets about it and eu blog is reduced to an ad page that seldom gets updated.

One thing that leads me to think “Huh!?”
is why we haven’t and cannot have a “Demo” category on the store.

You STILL haven’t answered my question about the echochrome patch! I’ve asked three times already! Why do you only answer questions in the 10 minutes following the posting of a blog post? THAT is something i don’t like! How muh longer are you going to ignore me? I’m going to ask this in every post unti you answer!

Hey Blog.
I just want to say that this blog is so nice.
Nice to have a place where you can get all your Sony news and comment on them, plus it is nice to see that you guys really listen to what we say/ask/request for, and so on. THUMBS UP.
Other than that there is just a few things i would like to see in the future;
- a qoute button, so you can qoute other peoples msgs, insted of having to use @374 Copy/paste action.
- a littel bit bigger flags behind your name.
- a favortite news list.
Hmm well thats about it…..thatks for a great blog, keep up the good work.

Ups soory i just wantet to add some more things.
- an edit button, say within 30 minutes.
- being able to delete old trofies from your trofies list on you PS3/PSN profil.
- a info box to the right, where there is a list of links to specifik news, that you have made comments to, this should bring you back to where you made your last comment in the specifik news, then you dont have to look throug old news to see if there have been made a new comment after your own comment.

I’d like to say that I think you’re doing a great job. Though I agree with people are saying about a Hot Topic section and other things.
Keep up the good work

I don’t know why yourself and people on here are saying your job must be so difficult listening to complaints and reply etc.
From what I have seen here is a summary of your replies:
I can’t comment on that one
That release period should never have been given
It will be here soon
The 3rd party developer will be on the blog to talk about that one
As soon as I have that info I will share it
I’ll ask (someone else) that question
I’m hoping to bring news soon, be patient
It’s the 3rd party developers fault and so on and so on.
Oh why thank you, I think calling me sir should be compulsory.
I’m afraid that this blog is turning out to be just another marketing tool fronted by toothless and clueless PR people who are still shackled heavily by SCEE, exactly like Threespeech it is turning out to be a complete waste of time.
