Hi all, it’s Elliott here, and I wanted to update you on some fantastic new content making it’s way into PlayStation Home this week.
Firstly, the magnificent Killzone 2 Visari Throne Room will be available from the Shopping Centre as of tomorrow morning. To celebrate the launch of this great personal space, we’re giving you the chance to get hold of an exclusive Killzone 2 PS Home Reward – the Visari plant & container. This exclusive item will look great in your new Visari Palace Throne Room, (or Harbour Studio at a push…) just bear in mind it takes up quite a lot of space…!

To get hold of this rare item simply keep an eye on the EU blog over the next couple of days. We will publish a promotion code, as a comment within this article, which you will need to redeem; (T’s & C’s apply – click here) but you’ll have to be quick; the promotion code will be valid for one week only!
Update: The promotion code is now in the comments below as promised, but it’s becoming rather tricky to find it! So, to make things simpler, here it is, to save you hunting through lots of comment pages:

To redeem the code, go into the PlayStation Store and select the [Redeem Codes] icon from the [Store Top], then just follow the onscreen instructions – the plant will be in your inventory when you log back into PS Home.
In addition to the Visari Throne Room, this week you will also be able to get your hands on an exclusive Helghast Tacticians outfit (for both male and female avatars), some fantastic Killzone t-shirts, as well as a variety of furniture items to kit out the Visari Throne Room – check out the screenshots below.
There will also be a second limited edition promotion code available on Killzone.com which will unlock another exclusive item for the Visari Throne Room. I won’t give too much away here, however be sure to keep an eye out Killzone.com, since no Visari Palace would be complete without one of these rare items…
In addition to the Killzone news above, you’ll be very pleased to hear that we also have the SOCOM Tactical Operations Centre launching in the SCEE region tomorrow. Great for all you SOCOM fans, check out the post here for more info on this new space.
And last, (but by no means least!) we will also be launching the fantastic inFamous ‘Abandoned Docks of Empire City’ space tomorrow morning (including the great Reaper Shock mini-game). Here’s what SCEA’s blog team had to say about this great new addition:

We also managed to squeeze a mini-game into the space – a scrolling shooter-type button masher called Reaper Shock that lets the community compete for high scores on the built-in global leaderboard (and rewards the most highly-skilled with some rad reward items to decorate your avatar and your personal space with).”

Why can’t you just download the items and spaces for free within that period of 1 week?
Why do we have to seek out codes?

Also do we know where on Killzone.com the other code will appear? On the front page? In the Forum? Tucked away in a hard to find corner of the site?
@ LasBaCkDraft, I’m so glad I don’t live in Germany, you guys have some seriously strict laws when it comes to gaming! Almost everything I see released has some kind of restriction or delay in Germany! What possible harm could a dead tree do to a minor anyway?!

the eu home team are alive!?!?! so hen will we get the ghost busters apartment? the mechina ready ghostbuter themed apartment that comes complete with loads of decorations its on green screen usable ecto1 that was released in the usa over three weeks ago (with the socom space we will eventualy be getting if a little, well lot late)?

You know what would be an awesome Home space? If capcom agreed to it, have a Resident Evil 1 space and have the whole mansion and some of the garden out the back – limit it to 60 people and remove all the door (just have door frames to run through) and it would be amazing.
Just running around, then run around a corner and someone else just jumps out would be pretty funny.
I think we should get bigger spaces – currently spaces are about 20MB, but if they made the mansion (not every single room, but make most of it) and it was about 80 – 100MB, it would rock. Would be an amazing space!

I have a problem with code for Visari plant – I used it and it said that I unlock this item, but I can’t find it anywhere, in “Inventory” I have only a bubble machine, can someone help me? :/

Temporary mixup regarding killzone 2 costumes.
The killzone 2 Helghast Tactician helmet and boots have been placed in the wrong sections. This means that when you purchase the helmet and boots from the male section, you are actually purchasing the female variants; and vice versa.

I’ve redeemed my code’s for chair and plant and it said it will be in my inventory when I log back into Home, but hwere is it? It’s not there!
Plus I need help concerning the costume. I’m male so should I be buying the mens costume or the womens? as I heard they are mixed up.

tbh playstation updates are a bit mediocre and really think that much thought should be put in when releasing updates. Wheres MGS1 on psn??? Fat Princess???. Really and the whole xmb interface is good but i do think it needs an overhaul in design for casual gamers to make it more accessible and appealing. Voice Chat is dearly needed and its online service is damaged severly as ppl barely except for . As a PS3 owner i love it and have bin loyal since the PS1 but beginning to question its performance although Playstation games are better and great titles the online aspect esp in the uk needs help and also a video store is needed. Come Playstation pull your finger out

Well actually I live in Poland and im actually a big fan of Killzone so i wanted to buy those contents but there’s a problem I just cant.It shoows only that prohibition symbol.But not only at the killzone contests also.I cant afford the Visari’s palace too.I asked my friend which lives in the same country as me and for him everything works!So I dont know how I can solve my problem…
