Hey everyone. I’m here to let our UK blog readers know about the Summer of PSP and some great competitions we’re running for you guys at the moment.
Throughout July and August, the PSP Summer Tour Bus will be travelling to theme parks and festivals around the country, where you’ll be able to get some quality hands-on time with a selection of family PSP games, includingHarry Potter, Monster Hunter, Buzz! Brain of the UK and Petz. There’ll also be competitions on board the bus to win PSPs, games, badges, skins and other goodies.
We’ve already enjoyed two great days at Warwick Castle last weekend, below are a few pictures, and I hope you can join us at some of our other upcoming dates:
• 11th and 12 July – Chessington World of Adventures, Chessington, Surrey
• 24th to 26th July – Camp Bestival, Lulworth Castle, Dorset
• 2nd August – Underage Festival, Victoria Park, London
• 3rd to 9th August – Chessington World of Adventures, Chessington, Surrey
• 10th to 16th August – Thorpe Park, Chertsey, Surrey
We’re also running an amazing competition, where you could win a family trip to Florida, an outing to Chessington World of Adventures, or a PSP and games. Full details on how to enter are on the summerofpsp.com website, where you can also watch trailers of our Summer of PSP games and play minigames inspired by them.
For Nickelodeon fans, we have loads of PSP reviews, webisodes, even more competitions and other cool stuff on the Nick website: www.nick.co.uk/psp
More information on all of the above can be found at summerofpsp.com. Have a great summer, everyone – I’ll hope to see you on the PSP Summer Tour Bus and good luck in the competitions.
Claire

@4: Absolutely great, nice work.
I’m off to Thorpe Park on the 17th… can’t you make an early visit?
…maybe I could try and make one of those London dates.

Nice work ‘Tone, Cliff would be proud! I’m off abroad for a change this summer so I’ll not be seeing the bus in person (P.S. boo for not bringing it up North!).

Not a very diverse range of locations to visit.

By that i mean that you should come up to the midlands and up north.

Just one question, why are all the locations of the tour in the South of England?
I live in Sheffield so why isn’t there a location nearer to the northern part of the country for the millions of people who cannot drive down to the south for a day????

Guess thousands of us won’t get a snifter of this since we live further North than, well, the South.

Yeah – not very impressed by Sony’s definition of the UK! Every tour that is organised, PS3 Bus, PSP Bus, Singstar Exhibitions etc. seem to have great difficulty making it across to that other part of the UK – N Ireland. We buy games and consoles here too, you know.
I feel sorry for anybody north of Birmingham there this time, but at least you have had some access (albeit limited) to previous touring exhibitions.
Nothing, I repeat SCEE, NOTHING has made it here – *miffed*

man, I wish I could make it to any of these places, but they’re all out of my reach…
Shame too as I quite fancied getting my bum grabbed by those giant pink hand shaped seats!

Hope everyone down South has fun with this. Hopefully they’ll make it up North one day, and to N.Ireland for those that live there.
