No price for the PS3 Slim in the UK and still no official price for the PSP Go. What the hell is going on?

OPM UK’s Twitter said the slim will be £260. That has to be a joke right?

Alright…just saw on the US blog the video for the Firmware 3.0 features..more or less ok..but I don’t like how they have stuck the Playstation store all over the place…like under the games section, and again under the movie sections…

And your right, we (well, me at least) are really looking forward to this great service.

Not a bad conference but the price of ps3 slim in £ would be nice, I’m guessing it will be £230-250 with a bundled game or 2.

I hope the avatars come out in Europe at the same time.
It wouldn’t surprise me to see them come out in the us first.

i never thought gt5 would be announced till tgs, it normally is

You’d think in this age of Facebook groups, Twitter, countless of blogs sites & forums, we the consumer could take power & do nothing but berate Sony until they give us a GT5 release date.

It my seem a little overreactive but, this has been going on for years, how long can a game be ready for?? Release the thing next month & patch the rest in if need be.

I imagine we’ll have countless of patches anyway, I could well imagine the time is being spent by working out which cars & tracks we can have at launch & which ones we’ll have to pay for later.

PSN etc works fine as it as (except for lack of x-chat)& don’t care about how refined the service is if I won’t be using it because I have NO GAME to play on it.

Its a little funny to see the dollar versus euro price comparison on the posts here. Yes they are not the same, do you really expect Sony to switch to a strategy where the price of the ps3 varies on a daily basis as the exchange rate fluctuates?

To all those saying they will buy 360s: LOL! Good luck dealing with an inferior system, I’ve had THREE, ill repeat THREE, 360s now, its a joke, stick with the PS3! Hopefully soon we might see backwards compatibility? Pretty please?

That conference was rubbish.

The PS3 Slim means nothing to people who already have a PS3. No new games announced apart from a bunch of iphone games. No GT5, no showing of Agent. Microsoft have full downloadable games and Sony introduce iphone games.

The video service won’t come out until the end of the year.

299 euros as well as 299 dollars is a scam, europe should get more like 200 euros with the exchange rate! 250 would be what i expected tho..

Kinda gutted that there was no mention of BC.

Sigh, i’m this close to crying out really loud, sniff. Over a long time saving money, waiting and being hyper over the PS3 for two years, I finally could buy one at 6th’t of August. I’m really happy with it, love the machine. But now this news…. What is Sony going to do for me and the others in the same situation? A refund? Some free game or whatever? I really don’t have much money, atleast not anymore after I bought the PS3, so for me it’s a real pain to see I I could have got it for 100 euro’s less…. Sniff :’(

yeah the conference pretty much confirmed all of the rumors,butt with no great surprises.

4 WORDS EPIC EPIC EPIC FAIL. scee 20 euros 50 euros=UK left out no videostore till november=Usa had it day 1 on E3 day 2008 no for holland as well, the firmware update look cool but where the backwards compatibility for ps2 games & the sony rep SAID lies lies LIES where the ps2 store, & lastly more LIES psn was suppose to be down today dueing the conference, LIES+MORE LIES=HYPE hype by sony.

Do find it funny the people who are complaining about the lack of GT5 news and saying they might change to the 360 – good idea if you massively anticipating a PS3 exclusive….
