No doubt you’ve checked out the Digital Comics Service trailer from the Sony press conference at gamescom yesterday. If you haven’t, you can grab it from the PlayStation Store gamescom PSN update right now . If you’re itching for a bit more info and to see the service in action, then you should definitely have a look at the video below.
You’ll see James chatting with Adriana Eyzaguirre and Pete Stott from the Comics Service team out in Golden Square. You’ll also see how the service’s Autoflow feature, which mimics the way your eyes travel across a page as you’re reading, makes it feel as close to reading a real comic book as possible.

wooooo another great step for sony and another reason to buy PLAYSTATION merchandise, great job guys. Its an incredible idea and personally i think its great that i can now read the comics i collect without having to open the originals of which subsequently would cause a decrease in there value.
just an idea that is a great feature for collectors, you could also have a comic value service which updates with the software to show the chage in value of peoples collections.
great job non-the-less.

This looks great but I’m sure a lot of people would like to know whether or not the Digital Reader will be available for PS3 as well as PSP.

This is a fantastic idea whoever thought this up deserves a medal or something.
Ive been interested in comics since I was little but there isnt a place anywhere near where I live so this will be excellent for me.
P.S. I agree that manga would be great as well.
