What an amazing time the past 24 hours have been! The town of Bunol has been buzzing with tomatoes and of course, Buzz! : )
After an incredible performance on Tuesday night, we’ve finally found our Buzz! World Champion, Armin Diethelm from Switzerland! Armin has won the contest and is now the proud owner of a brand-new MINI Clubman. Many congratulations Armin on a fantastic bit of quizzing, and to MINI for the fantastic prize.
On Wednesday morning, it was time to take all our National Champions to La Tomatina. Our champ, Armin, and Buzz started the 10-tonne tomato frenzy by launching the firework signal. Just one hour later, Bunol (and us!) were covered in tomatoes and the clean-up began.

Finally a massive thanks to everyone who took part in the Buzz World Championships this year and of course to the town of Bunol, who have been fantastic hosts at La Tomatina this week, so until the next time…. keeeeeeeep Buzzing!

Thank you all for these kind comments and congratulations! Well, I think, that I wasn’t the fastest finger overall. But i was just fast enough at the crucial moments. With such tough competition from all the other brilliant contestants, this is what probably made the difference… So keep on playing, next time one of you might be the winner! (although, Ian will be very hard to beat
)
I also want to say thank you to the whole Buzz!-Team. For the car of course, but also for this once in a lifetime experience at the Tomatina. I’m sure, I’ll never forget our “relaxed stroll” towards the town hall
So thank you all, I had a great time and will be pleased to hear from you!

Hi all,
Finland (#2) reporting in as well. It was indeed close (3rd tie-breaker question decided the winner!), and as me and Armin discussed during the scoring break, the Mini is much better off in Switzerland than Tax… I mean Finland
Also, a warm thank you to the Norwegian and Austrian folks for a nice evening in Valencia on Wednesday.

The Dutch champion here ,I just managed to get the last tomato bits out of my nose and I wanted to say to Armin:

I had a great time as well even I didn’t win(still a little @##%!* #@ about that,but I’ll get over it…eventually).So thanks to Sony(Bernard in particular),to all contestants and all the other people who made this wonderful event possible and last but not least thanks to the Spanish people for all the tomatoes.
