we are so bored with the rubbish childish ones weve had since the ps3 had come out. Just to throw around a new idea… and i may have to copyright this…. but Dynamic Avatars? “this idea is copyrighted by Sam Morris of Birmingham UK”. LOL (im a geek).

Dynamic avatars would destroy the crappy 360 rip offs of the Wii’s Mii’s.

Its somehow funny that there is actually a translation error in the ps3 and its there since the day of release without anyone correcting it!

Some people are whining about “I paid for this, and bought this and I have the right to complain and whine like a little girl in a tentacle anime”-yadayada WRONG! Your mother paid for it so [DELETED].

And I’m freaking GLAD that some people are even saying “I’m totally gonna sell my PS3 and get a 360″ because that’s where you belong.. the 360 community

Just please bring out the update to fix the freezing in the next few days!!!!!!

I see the benefits of the added “latest” and “recently played” menus, but they’re just telling me what I already know, and what use is a shortcut to my recently played games when it doesn’t save time (by that I mean you have to change the disc anyway).

The XMB shortcut to iPlayer is a nice touch, I like it, good move.

The old style friends list and icon/font size being optional would be a good move too. You can’t please everyone all the time, but allow them to choose for themselves and you’ll please more people more of the time.

Finally the in-game freezing in Drake’s Fortune is well documented on the net, but it’s certainly not limited to just that one game. Since the update I’ve been unable to play COD4, Burnout Paradise, GTA4 or any other games I have BD copies of. The only ones I can play are demos and games bought from PSN that are saved on my hard drive.

I’m glad 3.00 improved loading speeds for trophy information, but the rest of the update could’ve been done much better. For example, why don’t what’s new and the store get full sections on the xmb? It would suit the consoles menu system better, would allow for better organisation and would reduce the need for the store shortcuts. Also, i don’t see the point in the recently played section of what’s new, it’s an utter waste of space. Perhaps if it linked you to store content for those games it would have value, but you don’t need shortcuts on a games console.

Take firmware 3.00 offline or making the update optional and stop forcing people who want to access PSN store or play games online to update until there is a solution. Making it option is good for those that want to update, but at the same time those does not want to update yet still have ability to use/access PSN. Otherwise, you would just have more and more people experience problem(s).

1 : Back to the old design of the Friends List. (I hated the new list)

2 : Move the icon of the battery into the rectangle on the right side of the screen (move into the rectangle and NOT put on top of the clock)

3 : Remove the icons on the PS Store and video game (are not necessary for the “What News” shows from the PS Store News.

4 : In “What News” Replace the last 3 games recent played by NEWS BLOG of PS’s. (For respective regions. Ex: PS Blog News Europe only Accounts of europe and U.S. PS Blog News U.S. Accounts only).

5 : Option to reduce font size of text and icons of XMB.

6: Add an icon for Qore in “PlayStation Network” section of the XMB (only for U.S. accounts)
