PS3 Firmware Update (v3.01) Now Available

Why do xbox owners come here, even though this is ps3……is it because there xbox is on red eye at this point???

I have update to 3.01 firmware and than i got freezing problems on FIFA 09 WHAT IS THAT ?? 3.01 can be solve the Uncharthed game problems but it bring it new problems for other games , please revise your firmware again 3.02 or what you can do !!

I don’t see anythink that I want to see.I don’t see any options to choose the size of the text or icons.Also I don’t see Playstation 3 icon when the game is launching.When sony fix my problem I’m getting to be the hapies user of PS3 in the world

everyone i know has ps3 and 360 they all think the 360 is better because of xbox live partys can we get partys

I’ve got update 3.01, hoped it would fix the problems with 3.00…guess what nothing. I’ve got a refurbished original.

The PS3 freezes during ALL games and when trying to watch any blu-ray movies, yet it plays PS2 games and DVD movies just fine. Can’t reset the thing so have to switch the thing off at the back.

As you can imagine i’m far from happy and funnily enough this only started happening after installing their 3.00 update.

I still cant play Uncharthed. Game is freezing and I see black screen. I bought this game and I wont play !! When We see new fix or patch ?

This update stopped my Blu-Ray drive reading any disc so all i can do now is use my ps3 as a very expensive CD case/paperweight unless i pay for repairs that shouldnt be needed after 15 months!

I’ve follow you’re recommandations for an incredible experience in game.
And guess what after the 3.01 update my Bluray Drive stop running any king of CD. Like maybe a thousand of so people in the world…THE WORLD….what’s is the probability of that kind of thing happen?

What a coincidence that my Bluray Drive that was running 5 minutes before after the update stopped after the reboot.

Please when one of your costumers call the assistance for help DO NOT tell him the problem is hardware on a PS3 bought in January 2009 that never even freeze before and was running before the update…. when you put a flash bios of the Bluray on your update tell us before.

I know that it is only 400 bucks I know some have already a guarantee…but this is not a good way to keep people pleased by your products.

Please if you have time or just because it is your job FIX THIS PROBLEM because i do not want to send my PS3 for a software repair because some dudes [DELETED] my stuffs & we are your costumers the one who pay you and allows you to have a job!

My 60gb PS3 is also having problems. I can load and eject the BluRay drive, but nothing happens, not with cd,dvd or blurays. This cannot be a hardware failure, since it happened right after the update. What am I supposed to do now, right before some very good games get out?

I wonder what the possibilities of there being more tv players added such as FIVE, ITV and Sky Player (like on the 360) or even sony developing there own internet tv package like BT Vision or Tiscali, with ondemand content and live channels?

Also wasent a YOUTube link mentioned to be coming to the XBM aswell?

Firmware ’3.0′ hardly deserved to move the 3… it was a 2.9 at best! Maybe in FW 9.0 we can get some actual features!

Hey, I got 3.01. It fixed most of the problems with my games on 3.00 but… I still have major crashes in Midnight Club: los angeles… And sometimes(rarely) even in the XMB! Once I was comparing my midnight club trophies to other friend but it just freezeed!

My midnight is crashing a lot… please make an update thankyou

after update i had a complete freeze of system. got new ps3 and after update i get system freezes that requir reboot. simply said “[DELETED] LADS”. this is our money we are trying to use. its no way to earn faith and trust

really… you guys messed it up with this version… even when I try to compare trophies with my friends sometimes it frezes… Please fix this PLEASE!

yo im from ireland<is da 3.1 update really dat bad if so i dont think ill bother downloadin dat s**t i have enough problems been stuck on nat type 3 so if any other paddys out there have downloaded it let us no how u gettin on and weather 2 download it or not ta people (of eire) or better still offaly

The update worked just fine and fixed the problems I was havin with Uncharted. I’ve on installed this on both my systems with no problems.
About your NAT problems, I was also stuck with NAT 3 and used the tutorials on youtube to change to NAT type 1 quick and easy. So i’d say thats your best bet.

hello i would like to see in a future firmware version the posibility to aply a delay to any audio channel when using multiple ones since my hdmi and analog do not run sync . thx for your attention and if you know of a better place to post this pls let me know
