@48 I guess it depends if you’re already logged in with your PSN ID on the blog or not when clicking the link; I wasn’t so I was sent to the general UK site, now that I am logged in I’m always send to the NL site…

Could Sony please explain why German User and Austrian User cant join that competition? How do we Beta-Test other Games than? Sorry but i dont believe thats German Rules, much Games are Testers by the German-Community. Please explain why u don’t let us with in? Germany are allways getting the Most stuff As the last in the List of Country. It [DELETED] me off, sorry! Your own Rules block u!

Do you know how many people have signed up so far? Already reached the 16,000 yet?

And once again, I have to hate, where I live… Stupid German Laws. Can’t it be somehow remedied? Isn’t there a way you could implement some kind of Age verification System, so that we, the adult gamers of Germany can join the rest of the world?

The competition link doesnt work, keeps saying 404 error page couldnt be found, would that be due to me using my ps3 internet browser? Has anybody else got this problem? Would really like to participate in this beta.

Signed up and hopefully get a code. Time to play the waiting game but I’ll not get my hopes up until that game is booting up and I’m firing my gun

The time frame isn’t the greatest but if people want to test it they will ignore that and play it anyway

For people still having issues accessing it you have to makes sure you have filled in your account details on playstation.com itself and you may also have to register (you need your serial number).

Cool, nice to see an EU mag beta, really looking foward to trying the game.

I would be very shocked if any of us on the 1st couple of pages didn’t get in due to the fact it’s a 1st come 1st served beta.

Anyways, here’s hoping.

On the T&Cs it says you need to be 18, but it also says you need a master account. Because my account was created before I was 18, it’s a sub-account (I’m 18 now), so does that mean that I won’t be eligable for beta access?
If so I think that’s unfair because sub-accounts cannot be upgraded to ll ‘master’ accounts when you turn 18. In my view this is a pretty big gap in PSN’s workings that unfairly penalise those who created sub-accounts before they were 18 then turned 18 but still have a sub-account.
It unfairly penalises those few who didn’t lie about their age when they created their account (as most do), and I believe this is wrong.

You don’t need the serial number registered, i don’t have mine registered (no point, it’s out of warranty) and i managed to submit my app ok.

I don’t want to create a new account, as I’ve used this account since I got my PS3. All my save files are with that account, all my friends are on my friends list on that account, and on all my online games (e.g COD4) all my rankings are on that account. Why should I lose all that just because Sony haven’t plugged the gaping hole in PSN that creates so much bother? Why can’t PSN just automatically upgrade your account to a master account when you turn 18? It’s pretty simple problem to fix, in my opinion.

This is so much better than having to follow 20 different twitter accounts/gaming sites just for the chance to get a non-working code.

Hopefully more betas will be distributed using this approach should a pre-order program not be in place

This is rubbish, so unfair that I can’t access the link. No-ones even giving us any reason as to why loads of us are getting the error 404 message.

maybe you can make a new master account, get the beta and install it from master account, but still play it from other id’s on your ps3… not 100% sure on that but i think that was possible on the lbp beta

If you’re using Google Chrome switch to either IE, Opera or Firefox. That apparently works.

This certainly is some fantastic news. I have always wondered how this title could handle 256 players in a single server. How will we identify the developers though?

Nice to see how some twitch in pain, when they don’t get what they want. And Germany being one of the largest countries in Europe, usually get new things first with other big European countries and now that you finally miss these little things you go all boo-hoo. Nothing new for the smaller European countries. Live with it!
