Nobody told me that i could get a beta from, here too late.

Now i’m not going to tell my friends anything when stuff comes, they just are being ignorant.

its cool…i unplugged the ethernet cable and restarted downloading and it shot to 100% so if it gets stuck lads just try that…see the rest of you at 5 GMT

Yes, I checked the case of the code… all the characters were upper case… all were entered the same.

I had a feeling at the time I wrote above that the issue was because I was part of a previous Beta Test for the game; I’ve just tried the same code on another PS3 (without prior game-play usage) & it worked fine.

I’ll not be playing the Beta now (as the code was installed against a different PlayStation Network Id), but maybe we can find another title to play co-operatively or competitively.

@marcindpol – check your junk mail. there were a lot of codes sent out yesterday around 5:30pm, originating from news@eu.playstationmail.com . did you receive the original mail confirming your entry to the competition?

i left the download going all night, got to about 60-odd% but had to switch the ps3 off before work this morning. started it at 7pm this evening, and it resumed at only 50% – after another 4hrs i’m only at 80%.. looks like i won’t be on tonight either. is this using bittorrent or something for distribution? might explain why downloading is much slower than it should be for me. it’s like the MGS4-online beta all over again..

@ Twistedintoform is your ps3 cable or wireless? mine is wareless , i plugged in ethernet cable it installed it right away ( I was stuck at 81 % ) all day .

i have a dumb question but how do u become a MAG beta tester?? i have searched and searched!! cant find anything!! i am a socom lover, slant six hatter! i want this game to succeed in every way and want to do what i can to screw slant six as much they have me. Zipper is the s#@t and wanna do what i can to help. so some one please let me know what i can do to help!!!

@ Twistedintoform & sandystrachan, After 2 dc’s, one at 33% and one at about 60% it stopped at 81%, when I cancelled it loaded from that point and I was playing.

This game is incredible, since it is a beta I expected more problems but the only ones I had had is a system freeze when I tried to back out of a game and getting booted when trying to ‘Join Friend’. Well done to all the guys at Zipper.

@ Shijima, There are rumours here in Aus about another Beta very soon after this one, can you confirm this? And if so will you guys be handing out more keys? And will the current testers be automatically in any future tests?

Can’t wait for the full release of this game.

I noticed the ststem freeze , i also noticed people shooting me through stone walls and steel buildings . and a warning box open but the writing is too small to read

Hi looking for some help/advice,

I got a code from a friend who’s out of the country for the duration of the beta. Redeemed the code and got a download of about 35mb. Seemed small and loading it I get a title screen then nothing. Can someone tell me if this is usual? I’ve been reading through here with most talking about a 3gb download but I haven’t seen anything that size. Does this part download like an update once you load the game?
