great release. Doubling up a bit on the ps2 rnb, but that’s not a bad thing i guess, enough songs to warrant a purchase i think.

I would fully endorse a possible SingStar Italo Disco release. I imagine it would sell massively in Eastern European countries. Not so well in the UK where people are ignorant to it’s artistic merits.

@ 9
Motown means Motor Town which is a nickname for Detroit, the city where the record label was founded.

I HATE swapping disk when I’m playing. There is a store to download it from!
If you still want to make content availeble on disk why not make it possible to copy it on the HD?

Hi Naomi,
Is there a Singstar version that will come out soon with the wireless mics ? I already have Singstar on PS2 with the wired mics but I’m waiting for a pack with the new ones to buy it on PS3.
Thanks for everything.

+1 for not swapping disks. I know you want to maximise disc sales but any idea on when these will be available on the store please? I’d love six or seven of these tracks but not all of ‘em.
Could I also make a suggestion for the next update, the ability to temporarily exclude songs from the carousel. For example, everyone I play with hates Ne-Yo’s ‘So Sick’, yet it always seems to come up and someone has to waste a shuffle not to sing it. If we could exclude certain songs then the problem wouldn’t arise.
Ta v much!

Great to see this important addition and expand the library to wider genres. The one area missing that leaves me gobsmacked is musicals. Why is there no “Sound of Music” nor “Phantom” nor “Evita” etc.? These are mainstay pieces in the shower/driving-to-work repertoire for millions of singers. Personally I’d like to see some serious retro too with 1930/40′s songs. Irving Berlin is good for an album.

Love Motown, hate the scores I get on SingStar and my singing voice. Think Motown will win and my neighbours will continue to suffer…

Hi, I’m relatively new to the Singstar scene and I must say that I have fallen in love with the game. But I have a few questions.
1. Why is it that in some songs you fade them out when they have 10-15 seconds still to go. For instance, Queen’s – Who wants to live forever and Falco’s – Rock Me Amadeus;
2. Have you ever considered releasing a standalone Singstore App through the PSN at a reduced price with no songs so that people can have only the songs they want in their collection and not those unwanted songs from their starter disk?
3. Is there a way to keep the unwanted songs from entering a medley or a shuffle? If not, will you introduce an option to Skip while shuffling?
continued…

…from above
4. I can’t seem to Rap properly, I know the lyrics, I’m on beat but I don’t seem understand what I’m doing wrong. The game doesn’t have detailed instructions about the various aspects of singing. Like rapping in this case
5. Some songs require you to sing lyrics in such succession that it’s inhumanly possible to achieve, even if you breathe right.
6. It would be nice to have an option to view only the songs that you would like to buy in the Singstore and hide the ones you would never buy.
Is there a dedicated Singstar forum somewhere?
That’s all for now. Thanks for your time
