So, we’ve finally arrived to this week’s update – I hope you’re all ready for the rundown, as there’s a lot of content on offer this week.
Usually I list the PS3 specific content first, but seeing as this week we’re all excited about the PSP Go launch, the new Media Go store launching (replacing the PC based Media Manager application), and the first batch of minis titles hitting the store, the PSP content list will take the headlining slot today.
The minis range of titles launches with games such as Tetris, Fieldrunners, Pinball Fantasies and Hero of Sparta available (amongst others), and these bitesize games (all under 100MB) come in under the £4/€5 mark and offer a lot of value for their size!
We also have brand new PSP games released such as Gran Turismo, MotorStorm Arctic Edge, PixelJunk Monsters Deluxe, and Soul Calibur: Broken Destiny (with our favourite God of War Kratos featuring as a playable character) and also available from Friday morning we’ll have FIFA 10 and Beaterator.
The games for PSP don’t stop there though, with a host of legacy titles hitting the store featuring such titles as Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories, Midnight Club L.A. Remix and God of War: Chains of Olympus. For the full list of content scroll down a bit further and have a look at the delights in their entirety!
Also, for the added benefit of those of you new to the store, or are new to the PSP family, I have provided a full run-down of all the PSP games available via the store, there’s quite a hefty amount of title available for you.
For those of you looking for the PS3 content, we have TMNT: Turtles In Time Re-shelled available (trail and full game unlock) and a plethora of demos with Brütal Legend, Need For Speed: Shift, Star Wars The Clone Wars: Republic Heroes, and Up The Video Game ready for you to play. Fallout 3 has two new packs in the form of The Pitt and Operation Anchorage, and we also have additional content packs for LittleBigPlanet, FIFA 10, NBA Live 10 and others.
If none of that vast offering fills you with joy, delights, or hours of fun, then I have to question if you really enjoy playing games…well, do you? J
Until next week, take it easy and have fun!

A MEGATON update from Mike “Deathclaw” Kebby and his band of merry Wastelanders.
Still, Power Armour at the ready as you just know the dreaded “Comment Raiders” will still have something to complain about.
Seriosuly great job this week!

This is just thievery.
Gran Turismo 21.99 UKP or 36.99 EUR
If I run 21.99 UKP through the current conversion rates, it equals to 22.17 EUR
That is €14,82 more! Close to double the price!

Nice list Mike, looking forward to trying out some of the minis, they look really sweet.
I’m happy with my PSP 3000 atm but twice in the last 24 hours I’ve been tempted to buy the PSP GO lol. I didn’t realise it supported the DS3, does it work with all games or just a few? I also heard you can connect to the internet via a bluetooth device like a mobile, is this true?
I probably won’t get one yet anyway, I like having shiny boxes too much.

Nice line up, nothing really leaps out at me this week though, aside from the demos. I’m disappointed DiggerHD didn’t make it into this weeks update
Have you worked out how to preview Dynamic themes yet or do I need to wait for someone to buy blind and post it on YouTube? The first Motorstorm one was very dull, I’m glad I waited for a YouTube video…
There are a good selection of ‘Minis’ – is there any chance of a similar scheme coming for PS3 games? There are too many over priced £7.99 titles on the store and not enough sub-£4 ones. When the PS3 first launched it was a different story – case-in-point I paid £3.49 for Super Rub-a-Dub on launch day, 23/03/07, and here it is 31 months later ‘On Sale’ for £3.99!!!

(Living in worst Sony area in the world is so depressing)
Errr…. What I meant to ask is what’s the story with the Disgaea 3 patch?
No point in saying it’s not Sony’s business. Sony creates the rules, everything is Sony’s business. I’m not personally affected by the problem of DLC not available in certain countries, but seriously, SCEE needs to set the system so that never happens. It’s as if they’re making an effort to upset their customers.
SCEE is just an embarrasment to the Sony brand.
And I feel sorry for anyone willing to pay those prices for PSP games. 2x shop prices, 5x american/asian prices.
89
Posted on 1 October, 2009 at 1:22 pm by Apnomis
Speaking of price, and yes I know I’m repeating myself, but the exchange rate system you guys use is frankly stupid – fix the exchange rates like ever other player in the downloadable distribution market from Apple to Microsoft to Nintendo! $=/=€ and why is a $1.99 Rockband track 99p, but a $1.99 Guitar Hero track £1.59! It’s illogical – Americans wouldn’t put up with it so why do we have too?!
Likewise a LBP Costume pack costs $5.99/€5.99/£4.79 when clearly it should be priced nearer to $5.99/€4.99/£3.99 – I’m not paying a fiver for some constumes! PSP Mini’s don’t use a 1 for 1 exchange rate from the $ for example, in fact the exchange rate for them is the complete opposite – Tetris $9.99/€4.99/£3.99, Fieldrunners $6.99/€4.99/£3.99, Funky Punch $4.99/€3.99/£3.49 etc
Would a bit of consistency/fairness kill you?

Great update for PSP(go) owners! It must’ve been quite a hassle to get all this content up and ready.
Unfortunately I can’t enjoy all the content but all that will change once Peace Walker gets released.

The THEXDER NEO game icon (£6.29) says ‘GAME VIDEO’ on it. Might confuse some people assuming it is linked to the right piece of content.
Posted on 1 October, 2009 at 1:36 pm by Mike Kebby
It’s definitely the full game, just the image we’ve got is a bit misleading as you say, we’ll try and get it changed asap.

thx for the info about the fallout 3 dlc.
once more for english speaking countries only.
dont have a psp so rest off update is not good enough to wash away the fallout 3 hangover.
and the pricing of the dlc for fallout 3? hahahahahahahahahahahaha
u expect me to take sony and/or bethesda seriously after this?
ah well, i am tired of being dissappointed time and again by sony.
time to sell my ps3 and get a xbox, sure it crashes a lot, but at least the customer service is way better.
