Great update for Europe! (envious)

However, i think i’ve officially given up on Singstar in the US.
This weeks HORRIBLE and utterly stupid update for our store was the straw that finally broke the camels back.
It is great that in Europe you are doing so much for your fans, I wish whoever the idiot in charge of the US singstore would take notes, since they obviously have no taste or respect for the people like me who have supported the Singstore since day one by buying almost 300 songs.

My support for SCEA is wearing thin as it is.
PS3 will always be my favorite platform, but Sony needs to wake up.

Some Blind Guardian would rock… sadly I seem to belong to a minority; wanting more Metal on the SingStore. The heavy tracks seem to be reserved for more peripheral-heavy games.

Wow no Muse or Foo’s. I realise you guys must have a hell of a time getting certain artists for whatever political reasons but i would love to see a little more rock on the the store, there is 1 silverchair song a bit of nirvana and a few offspring songs but thats it.

I would love to see the likes of Tool, greenday, breaking benjamin, audioslave, linkin park, white stripes, jeff buckley and those sorts of slightly more alt rock.

Ive always wondered how the songs are chosen you guys have a bunch of hit songs from artists but then some of the bands have some real obscure song choices. The Thrills and Offspring have some songs i have never heard of on singstar and its the same with quite a few other bands.

Anyway just saying my piece. Keep the good times coming

Is there any chance at all of seeing some Def Leppard songs on Singstar in the future? Or is this one of those publisher issues?

Is there any chance in the future of seeing a musicals singstar or downloads. The majority of my friends think this would be a really good one to do. Could be just stuff from Andrew lloyd-Webber or a mix including cults like Rocky Horror and Little Shop of Horrors to classics like Les Miserables, Jesus Christ Superstar etc

I’d like to see some Eminem in Europe and of course more of that Elton John goodness you’ve got coming along. Just have to say one thing though, I love the singstar community.

Has anyone run into this problem with downloading songs: mid-download, something went wrong and the whole system got stuck. I had to reboot and the end result is that the purchase status says I have downloaded the song, so I can’t download it again, but it doesn’t show up in song selection which also means I can’t delete and redownload. Any ideas??

A request to the Singstar developers: it would be great if you were able to create playlists of downloaded songs, or at least enable or disable using the songs you have on hard drive. If you have a lot of downloaded songs, it really makes no difference in Pass the Mic mode which disc you are using, so it actually puts you off buying new discs… if I want to have an Abba party, I should be able to just use Abba songs from disc and disable the rest for a while!

Anyways I want to ask you something… This year will be the debut for the Sony family in Brazil and everybody loves Singstar, despite not being officially released over here yet… So do you know if Sony intends to release a Singstar Brazilian or something? i would just like to say up until recently my singstar online has been pretty good but lately i connect to the servers 5 minutes at a time and it signs out .i know its nothing to do with my network because every other game works fine.so it must be the servers.also i would like to make a suggestion for the rating system .at present when you rate someone it takes a while to register your rating and sometimes it doesnt even register at all. maybe an idea would be to have some kind of corfirmation that your rating has been logged .p s really loving everything else about the game .

The SingStar team doesn’t put songs of her because is a scrooge-lady that asks too much money for putting her songs on the store? XDDD Because I don’t understand how can be possible that more than 2 years since the original SingStore release, there aren’t ANY songs from her

All the recent updates were superb, but am wondering is there any chance to see any Greek songs in Singstore (so far i have seen only 2 and these are from Eurovision).

Is this due to royalties because if am not mistaken Sony BMG (Sony Music) has quite a few performers and groups or just because Greece has a small market interest?.
