Hello again!
The SingStore update this week is bursting with new songs, including old favourites such as ‘I’m Not In Love’ by 10CC, The Righteous Brothers with ‘Unchained Melody’ and Marvin Gaye’s ‘I Heard it Through The Grapevine’ plus recent hits from the likes of Lady Gaga, Duffy and Rihanna.
My personal (not-so-guilty) pleasures this time round would have to be ‘You’re The Voice’ by John Farnham, ‘Your Song’ by Elton John and Robert Palmers’ ‘Addicted To Love’ (and maybe some Rednex and The Stone Roses, too).
Juli’s ‘Perfekte Welle’ and ‘Jetzt Ist Sommer’ by the Wise Guys should please all our German singers out there plus there are also tracks from Héroes del Silencio (Spanish), Alain Souchon (French) and Fixkes (Dutch) available for download.
You can also look forward to the excellent StarterPack SongPacks, most of which we’ll be releasing to the SingStore on the 28th October – full tracklistings to follow in the the next blog update in two weeks’ time!

Its fantastic the amount of Queen we have gotten in the game but I just understand why “Flash” and “Stone Cold Crazy” never came out. Those are some of the best Queen songs.

Sometimes the system crashes when i try to quit game or turn off the system in Singstar… often when i’ve just downloaded new songs…
I’m looking 4ward to the next update in 2 weeks already !!! wish u could update once a week just like PSstore (fingers crossed ^^)

Ya as far as bugs I too noticed that when you quit the game to the dashboard the system does freeze. Its not 100% repeatability but I would say like 70% for me. Also when I have songs in que downloading and I go and sing a song, after I finish singing a song I get a “song failed to download” error and get disconnected from the online portion of the game. I’m positive that my Singstar firmware updates are the latest and I was using the ABBA US retail disc.

Aww, I checked the SingStore “the first thing in the morning” as you said, Nina, but still no new songs. =( Oh well, I hope they’re worth the wait…
While I’m at it: any chance for Bryan Adams or Pink Floyd in the near future? I can’t believe these artists haven’t shown up yet in SingStar… O_O

I’ll get two of these songs!
I haven’t seen any Spanish song that I like in the last 2 or 3 months. I’d like to see more songs from artists alteady available in singstore like Jarabe de Palo, El Canto del Loco or Andrés Calamaro. More latin artists/groups like Shakira, Belanova, Coti and Marc Anthony would be great too! Please bring some of them to the store.

I can confirm that if you download a song from the singstore and then exit to the dashboard the system will freeze. You will get the black screen of death.
