Grab your clubs and get ready to tee off! I am thrilled to announce that ZEN Studios is applying the same battle-tested ball physics engine from the acclaimed ZEN Pinball to bring you the PlayStation Network exclusive Planet Minigolf. What does that mean for you? Expect an exciting new standard in golf action combining stunning 3D graphics and smart play with true-to-life physics, including precisely calculated ball dynamics.
Aspiring to be the best all-around golf experience, we’ve built in a deep single-player campaign that transports players to several exhilarating courses around the world and comes loaded with six customizable characters, remarkable cartoon-style visuals and a daunting 144 unique holes packed with a variety of hazards and interactive objects.
In addition to the single player campaign, we have also included a full suite of multiplayer options – from a local hotseat mode to regular weekly tournaments and worldwide competitions where players can battle it out to see whose nation reigns supreme.
That’s all for now, but we’ll have more exciting news hitting over the next couple of weeks – including a more in depth look at the games online and customizable features.

Sounds good. Used to enjoy a nice little indie Mini Golf game from a few years ago so I might get this. ZEN Pinball was excellent so this should be also.

It could be a great PSN game… if the price is right, of course.

After the Trine price fury SCEE will not release price information early as it avoids potential negative press.
SCEE will state that they do not set the price for none Sony games.
PR men can hype their games as much as they like but ultimately nothing substitutes a demo, if its a good game demo’s help sales. This it not just aimed at this game but all on PSN.

I love minigolf but the ball physics in Zen pinball sucked. They should take a look at Pinball Hall of Fame: The Williams Collection or Pinball Fantasies to see how it should be done.

Cool I’ll definitely pick this up, Mini Golf is always a great party/casual game and I loved ZEN Pinball. As previously said hopefully this will hit in time for Christmas, that magical time of year when parents and granparents decide to try their hand at console gaming!! My nephew already has EyePet lined up on his Christmas list!
If I were a betting man I would say this game would be a prime candidate for the ‘Motion Controller Patch’ treatment like has been confirmed for a few other PSN games – would you care to comment on that speculation?

what the!?
If I had freaking known Wip3out HD Fury would be released on PSN, I wouldn’t have bought it earlier 2 weeks ago! I thought it was coming out in stores? Cuz GAME or Amazon.co.uk don’t even have it.
Damn Sony>:@!
