you honestly don’t expect a mammoth update next week if you look in the past when did we ever get a update worthy off what psn america is doing quit fooling yourself as for todays update i don’t know why they even bother putting this [DELETED] up nothing useful and considering what post 192 said i would also like a refund off my pspgo considering all the games for psp that came out were all [DELETED] still waiting for persona just expect next weeks update 2 be more sad then this weeks update and for all the stupids out there anything releated 2 PSone only counts for america considering europe is 2nd rate at best o no we are 3rd rate considering japan has also better stuff then we do

Hi Mike, is the lack of The Beatles: Rock Band Abbey Road content a typo or is this pack seriously not being released today?

The Press Release from Harmonix does not only state a release date of Today (22 Oct) but specifies the UK price as well.

I don’t need a long elaboration for why is it/is it not released. A simple “Yes it’s coming/No, it’s not” is good enough for me, even if you can’t state/don’t know the reason.

What exactly is the Lucky Dip? Is it what it says on the tin everyone gets something different? I’m in work at the min so can’t check anything and still waiting for my copy of Eyepet hopefully get it sometime before christmas.

Mike I have a lot of respect for you coming on here and taking flak every week but, great as it is to hear from you (especially after years of silence from SCEE) it’s equally as frustrating to hear you make the same comments week after week (“no news”, “it’s not down to us”, “I can’t say”). Again I’m not trying to shoot the messenger but there are some very good points raised here week after week and it doesn’t appear as if our (and your) protestations are carrying any weight with those who can answer these questions. The whole point of a blog was to create a dialogue between customer and company and whilst I think you do a great job, the restrictions you obviously have placed on you, make it an impossible task. We need transparency and a new attitude of customer service from SCEE and until that happens, people will gradually migrate away from Playstation as a brand, and that would be a shame.

It could possibly mean that I suppose. If thats the case, we should get them. Oddworld is extremely popular as far as I know (the ps1 games at least)

Another reason I’m hoping the Oddworld games will come is because they’re available on Steam for PC. And have been licensed/published for all available EU countries.

So hopefully its a simple (er) process to get them on Psn.

I would buy the discs. But they wont play on the PSP And remote play is a bit too laggy for precise platformer type games like Oddworld.

Another disappointing week for PSOne classics. Why can’t they just wait until the games are ready to be released for all regions, then release them in both the US and Europe at the same time?

Thank You for your answer, Mike. I am very disappointed in Harmonix for misleading us again with a false release date for the Rock Band pack. That’s not the first time this happened and probably not the last. That-other-console fanboys :/ Huh.

If SCEE is reading this comment, you do realise that the lack of European content is encouraging illegal activity for UK customers to use the American PSN right? People won’t be prepared to buy PSN cards either.

I’m one of those that is pretty much giving up on the EU Store at this stage. $50 US PSN vouchers can be bought on eBay for $58 and represent better value for money because of Sony’s hideous exchange rate mark-up. I’m going to buy FFVII again (I already bought the EU version) from the US store so I can don’t have to worry about switching account associations with my PSP.

It’s not like SCEE MAKES the content.

Then why did sony lie about the amount of games the PSP go would be getting on day one… riddle me ree

Yeah, see, people don’t like spending their cash on these vouchers and cards. If you use Google, you’d know that most customers illegally use the American PSN, Sony haven’t done much about it either.

Gimmeh your evidence as to why it isn’t illegal.

Sony has set a standard from European and American PSN for a reason, and the publishers publish their games on certain PSN for a reason (for which I don’t know ‘cus it’s stupid). So, for one country customer to use another country’s PSN is pretty much illegal because they are bypassing the standards.

Sorry Mike man, but you are literally the only person who can make a difference here.
