When are we getting the avatars from gamescon?

I mean, apart from telling us they are coming you haven’t told us anything else?

Will they all be paid?
Will there be game integration? (unlock a trophy, get an avatar)
How much will they cost?
Will there be any new free avatars?

I’m abit astounded that after all of these weeks we’ve heard NOTHING about them.

scee really like slacking off thinking ohh uc2 was out last week that means we dont need to bother with store for abt 4 weeks lol . seriously guys at scee get a grip or lose customers to the competition

when i say region locks i dont mean games on ps3

only dlc are region lock you need that same uk game & same uk dlc to play it

our psn ids however is not allow on scea psn no links on XMB to it.

if you make a account like mike did “dutch account ” is that a other shot in a foot lol ,

then painfully trying to get a usa psn card on a Web-site could by 15 upto a 100 for a $10 $20 $50 they other ways but then……

you need to use your debit card to pay for it & post & package.

I think this is a pretty lacking update for the PS3 side of things, plenty of content for PSP users though so thats good, i understand you can’t have amazing updates each week!

Although it is getting annoying for week after week we still don’t get any of the good PS1 classics, i know your trying but i still wanted to leave my feedback!

I dont usually post on here but im quite an unseen regular as i check the blog everyday (cause i have no life obviously).
Anyway, just a quick question really, doubt you will know the answer but ill ask. I recieved need for speed shift free with my new PS3 slim i got a few weeks back and i checked my hotmail yesterday and i had an email from EA with a code to unlock the porsche cayman s, however the code was 16 characters long, whereas psn codes are 12 characters long. Any clue as to how i would get a proper working code?

Realy, I had high expectation for the Store and everything that Sony would offer.
Then comunitie gets involved trough the blog and explaines wat it wants and complained when it went wrong. But now I don’t care anymore. I don’t expect anything anymore. There are no changes and I don’t believen anymore in the product and services.
This will go down in Sony’s history as the moment they lost…
So sad.

Nice update, decent mix of stuff and if there’s nothing new to demo, that’s why there’s no demos.

Chinatown Wars for me, that’ll do, and I’ll see what’s in the EyePet lucky dip pack too.

I think us user should all send E-mail’s to the companys who we need to bug to give us our ps1 classics!! not mike anymore ,,, I had a dream that we bug CAPCOM , square enix , And others and we get the games!!!!!!

Mike, just wanted to say. You mentioned that you can only put up whats been submitted. I went on the US blog yesterday and asked about the Oddworld games (I know you can’t comment lol. I’m not asking you to)

The main chap at Oddworld Inhabitants (Lorne Lanning) said that they would hopefully come to our store too. But its now a “PSN Decision”?

to whoever asked about the uncharted 2 collectors edition, if you got it from game online they will have sent you a UK redemption code (since it’s a UK exclusive) which won’t work on the irish store.

sales for critter crunch have been very poor til now. some people seem to be under the misconception that stuff sells in the millions on PSN, when this isn’t the case. majority of ps3 psn titles sell less than 50,000.

ratchet & clank isn’t released to retail (in the UK at least) until 6th november, whereas it’s out in the US on tuesday. it’s not uncommon to target a demo in a certain timeframe prior to the actual game release, so with the game coming later, i’d expect the demo to arrive next week.

publishers decide if games are region locked, though i don’t think any are on ps3. only the dlc is. xbox360 has even stricter regional content restrictions.

am pleased to see GTA chinatown wars on there for tomorrow – here’s to hoping it goes better than obscure did

On the update front I don’t think it’s as abysmal as people make out. Few free things I can get, and more special offers can only be a good thing. Seriously have to resist the urge to get the EyePet theme…

its not mikes fault its the system that sucks , sometimes it just seems like we get the short straw here in europe which can be frustrating because it seems we are allways last to get what other region allready have.
