Afternoon all; second post of the week, sick of me yet?
We have a varied offering of content this week, but the big news is that we’ll have Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars available for download on Friday! Also available on Friday is the release of the full game Hannah Montana: Rock out the Show, as well as four packs for the game too. That’s not all for the PSP this week however, as we also have WWE Smackdown vs Raw 2010, Marvel Superhero Squad, Astro Boy and G-Force available for you. The latest mini title is also added to the store, in the shape of Red Bull X Fighters.
For the PS3, the demo for NBA 2K10 is ready for you to try, as well as the first packs for EyePet (which is released in stores this week) so you can start customising your pet with some new content already. There are also free packs for Midnight Club Los Angeles and Cross Edge, and as usual more content for Rock Band and Guitar Hero.
We also have two new dynamic themes available this week, for the titles EyePet and Ratchet & Clank: A Crack in Time, and trailers for Battlefield Bad Company 2 and Dragon Age: Origins.
We’ve also added new titles into the Special Offers section this week too, with the full rundown of al content listed below.
As usual, you know where to find me…

I was wondering what you said about Obscure having some issues with it cause i found it on Store through searhing and i downloaded it and it works. But i have noticed that it has been removed now from Store so was this faulty that i downloaded and if it was, will Sony refund my 30 euros? Mike, can you say anything about this?
Posted on 22 October, 2009 at 3:43 pm by Mike Kebby
It hadn’t passed QA in time, hence why we had to postpone the delay – it should never have been available on the store. If you’re having trouble with it, then contact consumer services and you should be able to get a refund.

@twinkle, maybe the knowledge that will pee off far too many people, many would just abandon the system if sony pulled something like that.
well in europe anyway.

@254
I agree.
The US PSN have a lot more PS One games.
They getting the Ratchet and Clank Demo this week (maybe on Friday)
@251
Give me one bit of proof that it’s illegal.
I never thought it was.

Posted on 22 October, 2009 at 3:44 pm by i_just_lold
@256
True, but Sony use the excuse of “publishers publish their games on certain territories because of PAL and NTSC issues”.
Pft.

@ 251
Again, where’s the illegality? What laws am I breaking? You’re talking around in circles but offer no facts.
@ 254
If that happens I’ll unplug my PS3 from the internet, never update it again and refuse to buy any more games for it or products from Sony.

Mike, here’s an idea for you (please reply for your opinion on it).
Don’t you have a family member/close friend/friend employee who can reply to us all? I am seeing good posts on here I also want answers for.

if having an overseas account is ilegal than thousands of people are guilty.

Your probably right hazel which actually makes what dgnfly (post above yours) recommends a very smart suggestion,but not very likely
due to publishing and stuff like that i suppose.

For each country there is a set certification of a game.
It’s like importing an unrated version of Manhunt 2 in to Australia.
You can’t legally buy American content from the EU ‘cus the American PSN has set certifications and rules for this.

Good update will be picking up a few things up this week specially those eyepet goodies as mine turned up today just in time before the strike haha
The ratchet and clank theme looks great will get that, was nice of you to make that little trailer for it Mike.
Will there be away to preview the other themes before you buy? I thought i read some thing about it last week but forgot
Future Cop: LAPD 2100AD = classic game!
Posted on 22 October, 2009 at 4:00 pm by Mike Kebby
I can’t take credit for that trailer though – nothing to do with me, I was merely asked to post it yesterday
Dynamic themes should all be getting previews from now on yes.

What a terrible update.
I Havent even got the energy to even list all my feelings of disappointment . Too tired and fed up with the store to care anymore.
269
Posted on 22 October, 2009 at 3:59 pm by Roxas598
IMO Sony don’t care if you have US accounts etc as long as your buying stuff

My dad owns a Xbox 360.
And he has to pay for online play/store.

SCEE if you want the PSP Go to be a major success, the prices of the games have to lower. Look at the success of the Apple’s App Store.
I’m not talking about the Mini’s but the big games like GTA: CTW. There’s no point me paying £30 when I can get it so much cheaper on UMD. And let’s just see how much the iPhone version of GTA: CTW ends up being…
272
Posted on 22 October, 2009 at 4:02 pm by dgnfly
well you say cheapskates considering they have more money than you cause they atleas can pay 50 for online

Posted on 22 October, 2009 at 4:03 pm by HazelAM
@dgnfly ignore s whatever, got an abusive message over the psn from him a few weeks back, anybody know where i go to report that kind of thing by the way, nothing he says is of any value.
is there going to be any way we can watch the uncharted motion comic here in europe?
the us video store is ip locked so even though the first video is free we probably won’t be able to see it.

Well I’m still waiting for an answer about publishing games. And still waiting for Mike to reply to my serious and helpful comment.
Posted on 22 October, 2009 at 4:08 pm by Mike Kebby
I’ve said all I’m going to say on the matter – I have repeated these sentiments week after week.

Words can’t describe how poor this update is.

@290
And that’s not including Microsoft Points (which you have to buy in 200, 500, 12000 etc.), which hurts your wallet, a lot.

Can i ask where Critter Crunch is? The developers have had disappointing sales and it is hard to support them when their game isn’t even released in Europe yet.
Was hoping for Ratchet and Clank demo too (not that i need one), and the Oddworld games
Guess i expected to much.
