All these bad comments just mean sony needs to get in action for europe…
Not many responses to the questions either…now that means something…if sony doesn’t take these bad comments seriously then it’s proof that they don’t really care much for the eu folk. I’m also concerned about the people who bought the psp go, as they don’t have much to download and can’t play the umd-games…
weeks and weeks of no nice content in the psp/ps3 store…get’s depressing for a PSFan…

Final Fantasy VII seems to be on the PSP store and not the PS3 store too. Very odd.

Hi Mike, I can find Astro Boy for PSP on the PS3 version of the store but not on the PSP version. I’ve also noticed this with a couple of other titles. G-Police is available on the PS3 store but not the PSP store and Alien Syndrome is available on the PSP store and not the PS3 one. I’m assuming these are just oversights which happen when trying to keep to stores with PSP content in sync with each other

i liked the update a little, cause the dragon age videos rocked.
is there any word on a playeble demo for that game?
as it releases in europe halfway november (surprise!! in usa it releaes nov 3rd! again we in europe get the shaft. u see mike? its not just sony who screws us over) i really want to play a demo of dragon age.

as for people saying mike is just a messenger so we should stop dissing him, remeber he is the only one who responds. so he should know it comes with the job.
he can ignore it, he is a grown man i believe.:)

A good example is the Abbey Road DLC, which my friends in the USA have and I cannot join them for a session. Not because I do not own the same console or do not have the required funds, but because Sony (in general) cannot organise global distribution and release of content on the store with which they control. How hard would it have been for SCEA to delay distribution of said content to make it a global PSN release? I feel sad and angry knowing that you have no say in this as you are a prawn (film reference) for SCEE. In the past week I have had to tell numerous people (mostly 360 people who want a change) that although I think the PS3 product is sound, the support is somewhat lacking.

Hi Mike,

I am sure you will not read this post, but I forgive you about abbey road DLC. Looks like EA messed up. However, it shows that SCEA and SCEE _NEVER_ talk to each other regarding studio releases. This is very very sad. “Sony HQ” implemented date+time stamps for trophies which is furkin pointless if items are not released at the same time in different countries. Remember the speil about “It (PSN) will convert trophy times into your time-zone”. Total waste of time if items are not released at the same time. Obviously not just for this DLC, but in general. Since you seem to compete with and not work with the rest of the PSN Stores, then there is no point having release windows or trophies. This appears to be the only thing I see MS have going for them, since they have a “seemingly singular store”. Obviously everyone will shoot the messenger but this _CAN BE REDUCED_ if SCEE would talk to other PSN regions regarding digital content distribution.

the problem we have is that Devs/publishers see us as a pointless market to cater for, and are not submitting content for our PSN stores. they make all their cash from US sales, so they wont waste their effort on us.

it sucks, but there nothing sony can do.

@Mike, can you tell us if Square Enix have put anything forward or have mentioned that they will be doing so?
alot of us are waiting patiently for dissidia and crisis core.

i guess asking for a list of stuff ‘in the process’ of being prepared for PSN release would be too much huh?

Seriously consider leaving SCEE though, this kind abuse isn’t good for you. (unless you get paid silly amounts of money for relatively little work)
