Just as importantly, we have implemented many fixes and tweaks to make the game better than ever. The Fat Princess demo will also go live with the release of 1.03, so everyone who has been dying to try out the game can finally check it out. Huzzah, cake and candy confetti (see below, if you please) for everyone!

K, now lower the price of the game to £9.99 and i’ll buy it. As long as you mess with the proper exchange rate you shove your game where the sun don’t shine.

Good stuff though when I’ve tried playing this game at anytime during the last month or so I’ve not had much luck. Keep seeing the red snail thing and the game lag so much it’s unplayable. haven’t had any lag playing other games online like Burnout, Uncharted 2 or even LBP. Maybe this patch’ll improve things. Looks like some good changes anyways and the free map is a good bonus.

no thanks, as you can see Sony few euros can make such a big difference:)…

Cool.
Now if you just add some dedicated servers because this player hosted stuff is rubbish and rarely allows for a full game and then add some clan support for large groups to easily get into a game together it might be worth playing.

I have to admit i was one of the people totally hyped for this game prior to its release. I even let my hype overwhelm me to put up with the euro = dollar price tag on launch day, something that should make us all go “FU!”.
Sadly FP has pretty much disappointed me in every possible way. Besides all the launch troubles, which resulted into hours of frustrating connection tries, i felt the game was very badly balanced and some fundamental group vs group guidelines where simply thrown out the first visible door.
A patch that finally fixes some of the fundamentals is welcome, but for me it is almost like its too little too late. The money i spend on FP was for a lesson well learned. I will still try the patch to see if it has become somewhat of my original expectation. but with the current amount of games, go pick up Demon’s Souls as import since no one at SCEE or other European Distributors likes you! & U2, yes at a totally different pricepoint; i know; i simply can’t recommend anyone to go out and pick this up (or any follow up to it).
Well you get older and realize you should have learned what others told you a while ago: The cake is a lie !

This is great news
. After so much hype surrounding the new map, to find out it’s free is excellent.
Will have to play some more once the patch is out.

Don’t think this game will make it in the long run if you know what i mean. I don’t see anyone playing this on my friendslist anymore and some of them we’re really hyped and stoked about this game, but that love seemed to be a quick summer romance, you know. People check stuff out and then they move on. Sadly but true. Kudos to the guys over at Titan Studios though, the game got good reviews!

Just a little issue… how can i download this patch?
I mean, i’ve found nothing on Store regarding FP 1.03, and the game doesn’t update on startup…!

Excellent, thanks very much for the New Pork map. Fat Princess is totally fabulous and this is making it even better. I eagerly await the next expansion and the introduction of Chefs, Pirates and Ninjas.

If the price wasn´t a big f.y. to the eu costumers I would have bought it already.

when is the eu store going to get a demo catagory?
you can’t say nobody cares because people keep asking for it.
