Everyone’s favourite Hawaiian wave botherer Jack Johnson has been busy playing all around the world recently and has decided he would like to share some of the best moments in a special live album and DVD entitled “En Concert”. Very generous of him as I’m sure you will agree.
To celebrate this release we have an exclusive video with footage of Jack showing off some pretty impressive board skills as well as a performance of “Good People” which you won’t find anywhere!
The Album/DVD is released on October 26th 2009 so you should definitely check it out but in the mean time you can watch the Good People exclusive from Monday 26th October from 10:00AM BST and is available to all VidZone countries (Australia, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Spain and The UK).
Also we have a little competition for UK VidZoners… Answer a simple question and you could win… wait for it…a little longer…OK, long enough.
A special Jack Johnson plaque featuring ALL Jack’s albums artwork as well as a personalised message to the lucky winner.
To enter the competition, go to the community forum and follow the instructions. I’m afraid you have to be in the UK to enter this though (Sorry, we would love to offer it to all of you but our hands are tied, there will be more competitions for everyone else soon).
In the words of Jack himself…“I think it was a sign. When your cell, phone fell, into the toilet, and then it spelled, the word, Goodbye”.
Ben

Yes it’s not showing up at the moment , I’m assuming the blog post went up before it was meant to.
Hopefully the community team will have it up shortly, just keep checking the forums and it should be up soon.

Will definately check this out.
Oh, wait… I can’t. We still don’t have VidZone in The Netherlands.
But whatever, we’ll have some other great features from Dutch newschannel NOS later this year
Anyway, to all PlayStation Staff:
I noticed in the video where you guys show the Ratchet and Clank Dynamic Theme, there is not ticker and no border / new message / users online icons…
Could it be that this is a new firmware, which isn’t released yet?
You don’t have to answer, but I’d like to say this:
Please make the removal of these border/icons optional. I actually REALLY like them.
It’s great to be able to instantly see that you’ve got new messages.
Also: CROSS-GAME VOICECHAT! Bring it!
Haha, we know it’s there.

Useless posts demand useless comments.

@lorghe
Eh? As posts go, a post from the guys running VidZone announcing an exclusive video from a big act and a pretty sweet competition is quite far from ‘useless’…

Well. It may be nice for yuo, but for the majority of EU it has very little meaning, since ther’s no VidZone available.

We need Virgin Records to bring more songs to VidZone and iTunes, plus keep Sony BMG and EMI Music givin us the good stuff, plus we also need content from MTV and Kiss 100 = )
