This is Kevin Smyth the European Product Manager on Ratchet & Clank: A Crack in Time with a quick update on all things Ratchet related.
Release Date Confirmation
Most PAL territories (except Australia, New Zealand, UK and Ireland): 4th November 2009
Australia/New Zealand: 5th November
UK & Ireland: 6th November
Demo Date Confirmation
Two demos will be released on the store on the 29th October (Today)
- Demo 1 – Krell Canyon – featuring your chance to try out Ratchet’s awesome new Hoverboots.
- Demo 2 – The Great Clock – enjoy Clank’s time manipulation puzzle solving skills and an exciting boss battle.
Dynamic Theme
The very cool A Crack in Time Dynamic Theme is now available from the store. Check out the video for a preview
TV Commercial
Last but not least, I’m also delighted to share the SCEE TV commercial with you. It will run across Europe and the PAL regions as the game is released and follows the ‘The Game is Just the Start’ campaign which was kicked off with the launch of the new PS3 model. It features a mix of animation and gameplay which we feel does a good job of getting across the essence of A Crack in Time. Hope you like it!

I also want to point out that the Clank demo isn’t out on the Swedish Store. By using the “Search” function, you can find the icon for the demo, but once you select it a message says “No content found”.
BTW is there a way to driectly contact the local PSS Team to give feedback about some content not showing up?

i really hope insomniac take a little break from ratchet.
Not that i dont like the game, but a ratchet every two years its a little to much.
And its a little to much shooting for me. I would love to see a plateformer without shooting.
But TOD was really cool.

Kevin, I’m hoping you can clarify this, but in Australia there is apparantly a delay for the Limited Edition version of the game. GAME have said that it is now out on the 12th and there is a memo from EB saying it has been delayed by a week.

I live in Norway and there is no Clank demo at my Psn store :S Is there a problem with the scandinavian countries?

Hi, was just wondering something.
Since the game comes out tomorrow in Europe, does it mean it will come out in Norway then?
If so, with stores can i buy the game?

Joe_Long: I know, it’s not out.
But what you can do is simple: just make an Canadian or American account, then you will be avaible to download the demo(s).

What is up with Gamestop in Sweden. They say the release date is the 6th now and wont let me buy the game. I pre-ordered it and all. Can individual countrys just change release dates as they want? I want this game now. I tried explaning to them that the Europe release date is today and that it is UK that have the 6th as release.
Any offical or unoffical tips on what I can do to persude them? Would hate to wait 2 more days.

Same thing at Gamestop here in Denmark. All of a sudden it’s not available until the 6th despite what this blog says… And it’s not just them – checked a few webshops here and they all say the 6th now…
That was really sucky to find out once I’d actually gone to the store to pick up my preorder – both for the time wasted and the disappointment…

Hello,
since the CE is not available in Germany, can someone please tell me, if any of the CE editions available in other european countries does include a german voice track on the game disc?
