what benefit did i get? I’m signed up and oh look no code just shows a brilliant display of stupidity and annoyance which for sony’s sake i’m going to call Stupidayance.

i know slapnutzuk, interesting name by the way but there are many who don’t want to or have a trouble importing.
and i still want confirmation one way or another about europe getting the collection.
and with this title they can’t use the old, it’s down to the publisher/developer excuse, so why a couple of weeks from the us release we don’t know when or even if we’re getting this sce title is something i just cannot understand.

I’ve had the boxes ticked for the last year but I don’t think I’ve ever got any emails from Sony about anything.

@HazelAM as for as UK games stockists know GOW Collection will NOT see an SCEE release.

In addition there is no fuss or hassle involved, your order it and they send it you. No need to worry about the importing as they do it for you then send the goods.

It’s a shame there are no replies yet but maybe from tomorrow we’ll hear something about the plans for Europe.
Despite stockists having no info at the moment, I’d be extremely surprised if Europe doesn’t get an equivalent collection. I know we always come way down the priority list and have done since the year dot, but I’m certain we’ll get all three. Saying that, £27.99 delivered sounds pretty sweet. may have to check that out…

mmmmm thats not exactly true.
ive bought lots of games off ebay US, payed for them and everything and never received them.
all payed through paypal, i rang them up, they did a investigation, and said its been shipped so tough titties.
same with ebay, i file a dispute they do a investigation than close it and i get squat.
500 bucks+ down the drain, wont be making that mistake again.
i would import the GOW collection, but cant afford to through another 60 bucks down the drain.

it seems sony has forgotten people outside the US have bought ps3s, and have spent thousands of dollars on them.
ive bought 3 ps3s, 4 DS3 controllers, 2 sixaxis controllers and roughly 40 games.
but what do i get back from them?
squat!
they better release that GOW3 ultimate edition here otherwise im going to scream so loud everyone on planet earth is going to go deaf.

I think they should have done what they did with the MAG beta, and held a competition, so that GoW fans would find it and be in with a chance of getting a code. And I also have never got any E-mails from SONY.

This time Sony really desappoints.
What’s the benefit in give codes randomly? None consider that many people got fake account with fake mail adress!
I mean, i am not interested in God of war saga but i know lots of person that are, why not give the chance to everybody to play it?
Not clever choiche to allow people randomly, i hope costumer will remember it when will be time to put hands on pocket and buy the game.

As i said in an earlier comment, I will certainly remember this when it comes to purchasing the final game, and by this i mean i will ONLY buy god of warIII pre-owned now!
I was also thinking of importing the god of war collection but after not being considered a “valued PSN member” im not going to bother. It may appear that im cutting off my nose to spite the face, but i couldnt careless to be honest, as the way SCEE treats its most loyal supporters absoulutly stinks…

@ muzzar69 and others thinking importing why not use http://www.gamestop.com/ they are more than reliable and will already have the game available for preorder.

gamestop won’t ship PS3 games to the UK or EU, remember SONY made importing a crime of sorts, remember Lik Sang?

Movietyme and Videogamesplus are you best bets. I aboid eBay as you have little to no come back when it goes wrong.

Are you sure?I’ve already checked their site and nowhere does it say they don’t ship to Europe.They even have a list for the shipping costs and delivery times of every country in Europe.I am considering pre-ordering the GOW3 ultimate edition from them.

I recieved my code on saturday and all other games have now been put aside, i am a hugh GOW fan so this is christmas come early for me.
As for the various questions on importing the collection instead of waiting, i have had mine on order from videogamesplus.ca from annoucement, i have had dealings with this importer before with no issues.
The collection is released with a demo code that should work if you use it with a american psn account.
I may upset some with the following paragraph so except my oppologies – THE DEMO IS AMAZING, PURE GAMING HEAVEN, THE GRAPHICS ARE MIND BLOWING, THE CLASSIC GOW FIGHTING AND QTE ARE JUST BREATH TAKING IN HD.

They list shipping to other countries for all other items except for PS3′s and PS3 games.

Basically it’s all to do with the original SONY war cry pre PS3 launch, they didn’t want people importing and picked on them first. It’s basically frowned upon so some big names won’t do it incase there are repurcusions of some kind.

i’m with you on that. Why others don’t understand why it’s insulting to not be picked is dumb, it’s insulting as it’s like having Jack Tretton say to you “your so unimportant to me, i don’t want to send even a demo code to you but as long as your spending money that’s fine with me!”

Got code, played demo, was very impressed. to those who havent got a code, i sympathise as i know the feeling, this is the first code ive ever got from sony… no MAG, U2 etc.

just my luck..guess i didnt get picked..too bad its not on psn for everyone..discrimination is not cool..

i mean what’s next, a limited ammount of demo’s and the highest bid gets one? Oo c’mon guys..

I think people need to chill, it is only a promotion afterall, there is no way sony will not release this on PSN in time.
Its all about generating hype but a lot of you gus are missing the point and end up whining like babies.

Totally agree with you Burkatron81.People need to stop [DELETED] about this thing.It was RANDOM didn’t you read it wasn’t like they ditched people on purpose.And i am also sure this demo will eventually be released on PSN for everyone at some point.
I didn’t even know about this until Friday which i checked my mails.I wasnt expecting anything so that was why i was happy when i got it but even if i haven’t i wouldn’t be bitching over here threatening not to buy the game.When a game is worth buying i buy it and this one is one of the best games of the ps3 and i wouldn’t have let my disappointment and anger of not getting a code not buy it.Thats just pathetic and miserable.
