It’s Natalia from Boolat Games and I have great news for all gamers of European PlayStation Store. Maybe you’ve noticed that our 3D platformer for PlayStation 3/PSN “topatoi: The Great Tree Story” gets released at US PlayStation Store for $9.99. That’s why starting this week, from October 29th, Topatoi is available for 7.99 Euros! The price is reduced accordingly for all countries and Asian Store as well. It is a permanent price reduction, not just “weekend sale” or something.
If you’re still not familiar with Topatoi, I’ll tell you about it briefly. As you can see in a video above Topatoi is a full 3D platformer with fun and tricky puzzles. Take a whirligig-looking craft under control and spin it around a mysterious, unexplored corner of a remote world in an effort to repair your crashed airship and attempt to rescue your girlfriend.
In this episode you can help the hero, Raph, to pass through the intricate and dangerous world of the Great Tree, combat hostile natives and negotiate with the inhabitants of a fantasy world. Your every effort is rewarded, with 14 extra bonus levels of captivating gameplay to unlock and multiplayer split-screen fun for you and your friends!
By the way you can get an Arcade Style Pack for free, customize your arcade levels and get more characters to control.

We’ve finished all the levels and working on fine-tuning. Unfortunately we have no exact release date still but I’m sure it should be in a few months.

Thanks for the quick answer. I’ll get this at some point but I’ve spent a bit much on my PS3 lately and need to take a break (my bank account can’t take it much more :p ). You say it’s a permanent price reduction though so I can get it later.

I have to admit, I was tempted initially by this but due to unemployement and the cost of it, couldn’t pick it up.
Due to recent re-employement and the new price, I’m going to grab this on Saturday, when I get paid.

I managed to obtain a copy of this and get my arse on top of the first level leader boards.
. Doubt I’m there now, so I’ll purchase this.

Cool, it’s brilliant to see a company seeing sense when it comes to exchange rates – for me the $9.99 > €7.99 > £6.29 model is the ‘sweet spot’ when it comes to conversions. For too long publishers have been giving SCEE customers a rough deal by having a $1 for €1 conversion rate!
I hope your game sells really well now in order to send a message out to other publishers about pricing on the SCEE store.
I must say I was very borderline on Topatoi, some £7.99 games I go for, some I decide not to, but some like Topatoi I’m 50/50. For whatever reason I didn’t end up bothering but now the new price pushes me over the edge…

I bought it already, but 10 euro was overpriced indeed. $1 = 0,80 euro is much more fair.
