Hi All,
I’m Gordon Van Dyke and I’m the Associate Producer for Battlefield: Battlefield Bad Company 2 here at EA’s DICE studio in Stockholm.
Today we’re excited to announce that our forthcoming multiplayer beta is coming exclusively to PS3, so you’ll have a chance to experience all the action, destruction and vehicular warfare ahead of our full release on the March 2010.
Starting on November 19th the beta will feature the huge ‘Arica Harbour’ map where up to 24 players compete to secure valuable crates in the ‘Rush’ game mode as the action moves across a variety of different locations. From an initial vehicle assault on a military outpost the war winds through streets of a deserted town to an intense final fire-fight in an industrial harbour.

Getting access to the beta will differ from country to country but here are a few specific ways of getting hold of a key…
- We’ll be holding a special limited giveaway right here on the Playstation Blog
- Pre-ordering the game at participating retailers
- Checking out selected gaming sites such as IGN or Gamespot in North America.

Bad Company’s multiplayer was awesome, one of the best online shooters. Hoping to get this, I can’t even begin to imagine how good it’s gonna be!

Hey Im Going To Pre-order BBC2 From Game Because The 1st one Rocks I mean how Is Call of duty(COD) better then Battlefield Bad Company im mean you cant blow up walls and trees in Cod but thats what makes it fun right but like How do you get the beta if i pre-order do they give you me the code like right there and then be awesome to get beta =]???

The first Battlefield was fantastic, especially online. Can’t wait for the next installment, I hope i’m picked for the beta in a few days time.

Och jag vill gärna att du besvarar mig om: BF:BC 2 kommer ha samma typ av singelplayer som Bad Company 1 hade. Jag menar humorn osv.

Can’t believe that some infinity wards modern bore-fare 2 fanboys are still trying to make this game look bad, but you know what, bc2 is in another league like 20 years ahead of that 5 hour singleplayer, 9vs9 MP and no destruction what soever [DELETED] epic fail MW2

I know COD MW2 is out and is outstanding but i feel BC has a fun factor feel and the screenshots are 100 to none i love this gm so much just hope it delivers what it did last time GREAT STORYLINE BRILLIANT GAMEPLAY & MORE BANG FOR YE BUCK.. THANX FOR THE BETA SOON JUST IN CASE I FORGET

This game looks awsome. Will definatley be getting this! Disappointed by Infinity Ward (Production costs, yeah right) The PS3 version just looks like another port to me.
Anyway really looking forward to this awsome game! Good job DICE and thanks for the BETA. (Even if I dont get in)

I played the hell out of bad company 1 and truly it was the most extreme experience of any game by far……..this next game can only get better.stuff call of duty, battlefield rocks !!!!! HELLO TO ALL YOU BRILLIANT PEOPLE IN STOCKHOLM!
