Hi All,
I’m Gordon Van Dyke and I’m the Associate Producer for Battlefield: Battlefield Bad Company 2 here at EA’s DICE studio in Stockholm.
Today we’re excited to announce that our forthcoming multiplayer beta is coming exclusively to PS3, so you’ll have a chance to experience all the action, destruction and vehicular warfare ahead of our full release on the March 2010.
Starting on November 19th the beta will feature the huge ‘Arica Harbour’ map where up to 24 players compete to secure valuable crates in the ‘Rush’ game mode as the action moves across a variety of different locations. From an initial vehicle assault on a military outpost the war winds through streets of a deserted town to an intense final fire-fight in an industrial harbour.

Getting access to the beta will differ from country to country but here are a few specific ways of getting hold of a key…
- We’ll be holding a special limited giveaway right here on the Playstation Blog
- Pre-ordering the game at participating retailers
- Checking out selected gaming sites such as IGN or Gamespot in North America.

UK keys are being given away on GAME’s site with pre-orders of the game.
Twitter says there’s a problem with VoIP and thery’re working on a patch, so no one can get on the beta until they sort it out.
I’m just waiting on my email from GAME with my access code.

for those with codes officialbfbc2 has said Word from Sony EU is the update is deploying! Make sure the Beta is installed, then installed the update, then go play!

Whens the enviroments expected to be up and running ? Been checking back and forward since 09:00 but there appears to be no games available to play yet. Not being push jus keen to “get some”

i have got BF Bad Company and it is my fav game but i could only play online while using a wired connection, now that i am on wireless it wil not let me play online on it anymore, and i think this problem needs to be solved. Does anybody know if it wil be like this on BF Bad Company 2 i really it isnt. But still it is an awesome game and wud love to get the beta it only depends on if the beta wil work
