Hey Guys any chance of some real rock songs from maybe Foo Fighters, Red hot Chilli Peppers, Oasis etc? That would be great.

Nina, can you change this for the next update, please? Because, as you probably know, english language is not the french cup of tea…;-) so the same french songs are played everytime during karaoke parties at home !!!

There are a lot but you know what kind of music i mean.

Mostly UMG PS2 disc stuff, but I’ll still get a few tracks from this.

I just wanted to ask you, if you can tell us if the cool songs of the starter-set dics will become available for us any time soon. Amazon for example has listed “Broken Strings”, “Dance with Somebody” and “Wire to Wire” but i obviously can’t invest 60€ for a disc with 5 songs

Thats a shame, it looks Guitar Hero and Rockband are doing a better job. Changing discs during a party is always a show stopper and I often get questions why I caný put them on the HD.

Any word on HD clips instead of the oldfasion SD?

Months ago people came up with loads of good ideas to make Singstar even better (like being able to anly see the videoclip to enjoy or play Singstar with friends online).
Any word if you guys are doing something with those sugestions?

When is Alphabeat – Fascination coming to the store, its been on the USA Store for ages, i have been waiting ages for the song to hit our singstore. Do you know if we are getting this song?

Thanks for the update. Is there any likelihood that we will be able to purchase the entire contents of a Singstar disc on the SingStore? For example, my wife loves the idea of the Singstar Take That, but just wants all the tracks adding to the library, and doesn’t want to have to insert a separate disc every time.

Awesome update… I want to ask if there is any chance to add in the SingStore songs from Utada (even the ones from Kingdom Hearts series [ps2 games]) and more songs from Robbie Williams and Lady Gaga (Paparazzi and Love game) ?

Is there any chance for Greek Songs to make it in the game through DLC? There are rumors about a SingStar Greek version, but not a real confirmation. Thanks in advance

Please, please PLEASE can you allow us to import the ‘catalogue’ of our Singstar discs? Not the songs, just the song names, artist + 10 second preview. If you pick a song which is on a different disc, then just a message to say “Insert Singstar Vol. X” would make the whole experience of browsing songs (because let’s face it, the lack of a “proper” import feature is incredibly irritating) a darn sight more pleasant.

I have 6 Singstar discs, and it such a pain to change discs just to see what’s on it – and even worse, I’ve ended up buying tracks from the SingStore that were on one of my other discs!

Are we ever going to see boybands like Backstreet Boys, NSync, and 98 Degrees? Or Mariah Carey, Christina Aguilera, and Mandy Moore on the female side?

Also when is Coldplay’s Viva La Vida ever going to make its way to the store? That’s the one I keep waiting for but never shows up.

The thing I miss most on the singstore however is Michael Jackson. We have “Billie Jean” on singstar vol. 3 and “I want you back” with Jackson 5 on the singstore but other than that it’s kinda empty in that department.

Will more songs with Michael Jackson be added in the near future or will there be a “Singstar Michael Jackson” disc?

Thanks for an Ace of Base tune, but what we really want is “All that she wants”, “Wheel of fortune” and “Beautiful morning”.

Songs I’d like to see in SingStar in the future:

The ones I bought from the SingStore that have disappeared from my carousel despite the game saying they are downloaded, but can’t be deleted and are basically down some big mysterious dark SingStar hole somewhere, wasting my precious money.

In other words, the last update/patch was HORRIBLE and broke my SingStar and lost me songs that cost me money. PLEASE can we have a fix, please?

Lots of demand for rock and metal it seems, please listen!

Also as noted over here I would like to see the Abba songs online, even if I could buy them cheaper on disc I would buy online instead, too much work swapping disc you understand! … Also my kids would love to sing more, as there not much for they in the store, so some kids song on Norwegian would be wery thankful, or even some english aswell!… Keep up the good work!

I just have one question. I notice that on Singstar Vol 2(UK) there is Fratellis Chelsea Dagger. It would be great to see this song on the singstore as well as Flathead, Henrietta, and Creeping up The Backstairs. This band is perfect for the game! I have a question. Is it possible to make some kind of playlist with songs you like? There are some songs on the disc i don’t like but they can’t be turned off. I hope this will be possible in a next patch/version.

Thanks but that doesn’t actually answer my question. I know that importing the songs themselves to HD is another licensing nightmare.

What I am asking for is to be able to do is this :

- Load SingStar
- Insert another singstar disc
- SingStar scans the disc and adds those tracks to the carousel
- Insert another singstar disc
- SingStar scans the disc and adds those tracks to the carousel
- Pick a song from the carousel
- If the song is not on the disc currently in my PS3 SingStar pops up a box saying “Please insert SingStar XXXX disc”

What I would like is for SingStar to keep a record of which songs I own, both on the HD (via SingStore) and on my SingStar discs.

When you have a singstar party, you have to basically sing through the interesting songs on the disc currently in the machine, changes discs, see whats on that one “Oh nothing I fancy”. Change disc again.

Honestly, try owning 6 SingStar discs and remembering which songs you have on all of them + downloaded ones.
