FINAL FANTASY XIII – A Special Announcement

If your listening Square enix please include the Japanese language track with subs as an option in final fantasy just like you have in Star ocean the last hope international and practically every other rpg released for the ps3 has.

Though I’m sure the english voice acting will be great many fans would like to experience the game with Japanese voices as an option and since size isn’t an issue now that your on bluray please make this happen!

I think they just gonna announce some collecotor/limited edition.

Perhaps we (EU) get an exclusive limited/collectors edition due to the long wait we usually have to endure.

I bet for the release date and some preorder goodies or maybe a special European Collectors Edition.

Anyway, I hope there will be only one european edition, with all the languages plus japanese. This will be better than all the collector editions and all this stuff

Its definitly a release date announcement and its spring 2010. I recieved an email about it. I just hope it wont be around the time of God of war 3 and Gran Turismo 5s release date because I wont have money 2 buy 3 games and Sony exclusives come first

- English demo released?
- Europe release date announced?
- Europe version will have Japanese voices option?

Any of those would be most welcome, all three would be fantastic!

Demo Release date hopefully. I wont be expecting a full game release date until the U.S gets theirs.

Final Fantasy XIII bluray disk will include demos of Final Fantasy XIV, XV and a teaser video video of FF XVI?

SE has abandoned there FAN-base, with there Timed exclusivs for 360
Star Ocean 4 and Last Remnant, they can say what they want but they dumped down Final Fantasy 13. No doubt Final Fantasy 13 looking amazing, but as a PS3-exclusiv it would be OUTSTANDING and it has already arrived, if it were PS3 only.

I was a HUGE SE fan, bought everything from there Games to there Merchandise, but iam no longer a SE-fan.
I dont want to support a Company that lies in the Face of there Fans.
SE has made some big (and with “big” I mean “BIG”!)buissnes mistakes.
SE should FIRE WADA.

If it’s anything other then that pink limited edition ps3 I’d be disappointed. I’m expecting a $20 premium and only 6 months difference between a us and europe release though.

I was thinking it would be a release date or possibly a demo but Square have put up a countdown timer made a video for the annoucement and the media is saying its a huge special announcement. It just seems like a lot of trouble to go to for a release date. Dare i think it is something bigger?

White Knight Chronicles (WKC) is an JRPG from LEVEL 5 (developers of Dark Cloud, Rouge Galaxy, Dragon Quest 8/9,Prof. Layton…),WKC has online multiplayer aspects too, but mainly, it is a Singleplayer RPG.
And it looks Really AMAZING, i have the JAP-Version and i hope that WKC comes to EU too. At the moment, it is only announced for US.

BTW SONY/FromSoftware/Atlus when will Deamons Souls arrive here in EU,
i heard only extrem Positiv news about that RPG

SE cares for PS fans so much that they won’t give us unlucky 13 (making it an exclusive pox on the 360) and you’ll need to wait 1 more year for FFXIV.

They can keep it. I´d prefer Atelier Rorona and WKC to this overhyped title. maybe, i´ll get it when the game hits the bargain bin.

I imagine it will simply be the clarification of a Western release date, possibly details of an International Edition (Which usually happens with Final Fantasy games).

It’s probably a release date announcement or a demo announcement.

What would really count as a surprise would be total unveiling of Final Fantasy 13: Versus and release date for that game.

I know a guy who knows a guy who once saw someone from Square Enix. He told me that first they’ll announce the release dates:
US: April 2010
Europe: April 2011

Then they’ll announce what kind of exclusive DLC the 360 version will get.

meh, lost interest in this a long, long, long time ago.
when a games release gets set back time and time and time and time again its hard to keep interest.
now some news about kingdom heart 3 now that would be BIG.
otherwise meh.

if this is going to be the same kind of announcement as the one we got from bioware last month, ie something that is good news for everybody except eu ps3 owners, then i’d rather you didn’t bother.
if it does relate to europe then i can’t wait to hear it.

My guess is it is about the EU and US release date for the PS3. I think PS3 version will release earlier than xbox360 since the development started on PS3 way earlier than xbox360. The only thing which can stop square enix to do that is Microsoft’s $$$.
