So I bet most of you have been playing Modern Warfare 2 this week, and in relation to this (just in case any of you missed it) we added the original Call of Duty: Classic to the PS Store on Tuesday evening (given a fresh lick of paint and with online 8 player multiplayer).
For the rest of the update this week, we have a varied offering, taking in a new bundle for Burnout Paradise, a new quiz pack for Buzz!, Fat Princess makes an appearance in PAIN and there is also additional content for Rag Doll Kung Fu, EyePet, Rock Band and Guitar Hero.
PSP users get three new games, three new minis, and the demo for Jak and Daxter: The Lost Frontier.
I know lately we’ve had a bit of a lull in the updates, and whilst they may not have been massive, we have been adding steadily to the store (for you PSP users especially), but next week, there should be a nice stream of content released, and I’m hopeful that some of you will be pleased once you see what’s coming
.
There will always be dips in the release schedule, that’s just the way it goes at times, but we always come out the other side smiling don’t we? Seriously though, we’ll be doing our best to make sure these lulls become less and less frequent, because we do want our community to be happy smiley folk after all!
Anyway, as usual leave your comments below and I’ll do my best to trawl through them. I may not respond directly, but I am reading and taking note, promise.

YOU KNOW WHAT WOULD FIX EVERYTHING? THE GUYS AT VIDZONE TAKING OVER FROM THE FOLKS IN CHARGE OF PSN.
AT LEAST THEN WE WILL HAVE THE GAMES AND THE DLC WE ARE LOOKING FOR. INSTEAD OF USELESS THEMES AND VIDEOS.
SOMETIMES I WONDER WHAT DO THESE GUYS AT SONY ARE UP TO?

Heya Mikey Mike. Finally i can this to you ” Domo Arigato ” MikeFace ^__^ Fallout 3 packs finally out in the portuguese store ;D
For those of you who didn’t buy the GOTY buy the packs because 1: extra Fallout 3 things to do, see, pick up & own hard ;D 2: those who did buy the GOTY will probably vouch for me if they had the original Fallout 3 too, lets face it that thing has more bugs than the 3 original Fallout 3 platforms put together so i rather give 49.99€ for the packs than 59.99€ for Fallout 3 Bug Ultimate GOTY Special A.K.A Fallout 3 BUGS. so ” Domo Arigato ” again Mikey Mike ^__^ looking forward to next week ;D

They’re not up to anything, they just sit back and let the content come to them, instead of going out and getting what people are asking for like they should be doing.

If COD Classic was only intended for those with relevant vouchers I’m curious how ye came about pricing the product in the first place(for the short time it was available). Surely ye would have discussed this with the publisher and they would have said something along the lines of “hang on, why are you charging for this…it should only be available to voucher holders”!

Hi Mike, pity they took down the Call Of Duty: Classic, I was just checking my money to see if I could by it, went back on the store and it disappeared
.
I was just wondering, is there any chance that Capcom will allow Dino Crisis to come onto the PS Classics part of the store? I loved playing that game, one of the best games I’d ever brought on the PS.
Thanks in advance

hey mike if localisation isen’t the problem why do some region don’t get any content that is posted here, like i said before why not mention what country get’s what content that way we won’t be disappointed like with the DLC for fallout 3 cause i would like 2 see all the ps1 games you posted this year cause we diden’t even get those horrible disney ps1 games, and yes who cares about those games.
Posted on 13 November, 2009 at 2:17 pm by Mike Kebby
If you look, you’ll see the locale availability has been included in this week’s blog post (and will remain from now on).

and mike isen’t there a better solution on getting those downloaded psp games from the psn store on your psp i kinda hate login in just 2 put a game on the pspgo harddrive, and did they ever fix that european refund for psp that you get 3 games for free if you owned one off the other psp cause i read they had problem when you downloaded the psp game you can’t put it on your ps3 cause off copyright stuff.

Now I’m all hyped up for the next weeks
Thanks for the Fallout DLC on the portuguese store, by the way. Personally I’m not that interested (will give Fallout 3 another chance soon, though, and I’m a little sadden by the fact that it’s cheaper to buy the GOTY edition than the PSN packs :S) but it’s always nice to know someone thought of us.
After them man flu, it’s time for customer comment flu
Hang on

Dear Mike. I need help with Street fighter A3 MAX. I bought it throught the store and playing it on my PSP 3000. The game does not save. It does not find a memory stick duo, regardless of the fact that it is running from a memory stick????? and when I try to save at options, it just gets stuck. I am downloading it to my PSPgo now to see if the same problem exists. Can anyone else confirm it as well?

“Sega of America developed sonic the hedgehog and i’m sure many more but that one was the first one I could think of. What is bayotte i’ve never even heard of it? its not listed as a game that any sega company ever made.”
Sonic the Hedgehog was made in Japan by Sonic Team.
Bayonetta is a Sega-published, Japanese developed game by Platinum Games. Google, and ye shall find reward.

Not a great update:
I’v been waiting for the PSClassics to come forward, such as, Abe! where the hell is he! The US has had him for a few weeks now and weve got no sign of him coming.

not to call you a liar or anything mike, maybe you’re just relaying what you’re told, but i find it unlikely that so many devs release their dlc to scee late when they manage to get the exact same dlc out worldwide on multiple format at the exact same time..
more examples of it only being delayed when scee are involved.
mybe it isn’t scee’s fault, and maybe it’s just a coincidence that there are so many clouds when it rains and the rain doesn’t actually come from the clouds, it in fact comes from some other source.

How come Fallout content is listed as new? It has been on the psn store for the best part of a month, is this a poor attempt to cover up the lack of anything of consequence on psn?
The best thing on there this week was the COD:Classic which shouldn’t have even been released at all.
Considering sony are asking people to pay £200 for the psp-go, then not updating with the new releases how can this justify such a high premium?
It really is a sad state of affairs… I am sorry but it is.
The addition of stuff to the store for psp users is pretty lacklustre to be honest. The biggest release on it of this month doesn’t even make an appearance… yes Pro Evo 2010.
Also the psone classics range compared to the US store is godawful.
I will dig out my old psone games that I cannot digitally download for transfer to the go (which thus far has been a ridiculous waste of money).
Sorry rant over for now, hope in the run to Christmas the games range grows considerably.

Why don’t you read the AVAILABILTY part – it’s additional to some stores that didn’t have it before.

Re the Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 DLC – this has been posted on the OFFICIAL site by one of the admins NewsLad:
“Hi folks,
I think someone is pulling your leg here—if Sony Europe didn’t receive the DLC, they would have contacted us before the American DLC was released. We sent all our DLC through the necessary channels some time ago (also, it’s not just like we e-mail it over and they post it up same day. There’s a process to these things).
Please don’t spread rumors! It doesn’t help information get out any faster. We’re looking into what’s going on and will have information soon.”
So all we really want to know is WHEN it’s going to be made available considering you’re both pointing the finger of blame at each other.

I’m not getting into this any further on the blog, it’s a discussion to have between ourselves and the publisher.

Mike, here’s one. Why is G-Police available on the PS3 store and not through the PSP or Media Go?

G-police, I remember that game, it was cool.

Hey Mike, thanks for answering my previous questions – much appreciated. I have another though!
Do you know if there’s any word on the Pinball Heroes games coming to the UK/EU? I didn’t realise they were coming out at a different time to the US, and I don’t actually know if they’ve been confirmed for the Uk whatsoever, but any insight would be very useful

“Again your wrong Dreadknux Bayonetta is developed by sega for the ps3 and platinum games for the xbox 360. You better go check your facts again.”
Correct
Dosn’t the demo even say on PS3 “converted” by Sega or something. may not be exact wording but something along them lines.

@Pauled7
A coming soon list would spell ultimate doom for the blog lol. Imagine a big release for the store being listed, everyone gets hyped and then it either fails to appear on the store (like the Marvel ultimate alliance DLC) or isn’t listed for specific areas of the EU. You would have a massive [DELETED]storm on here from alot of understandly upset fans. Its better for them to simply make hints like “big shiny things next week” like they did last week, and nothing that great appeared and only a few people get [DELETED]. Flat out telling people whats up next would inevitably lead to alot of flaming.

Oh dear, another tragically bad update. Now the US and Japanese stores have Disidia, but the EU gets… Winnie the Poop. Oh how you must have laughed.
With a US or JP account the PSP Go is totally useless.

Posted on 14 November, 2009 at 1:02 am by welshmouse
another lousy update for PSPgo owners.
at this point its become a race between sony and the hackers, and sony are losing.
if a custom firmware is released for the PSPgo before sony get their act together and give us a decent amount of content, i will be turning to that method.
i HATE game piracy, i have never supported it as i belive games develepers deserve my money for the hard work. but if sony dont even give us the games to buy, they leave me no choice.
there’s already a working CFW being tested for the psp go, so if theres a release before at least SOME of the games i bought the pspgo for are released, itl be bye bye paid purchases.

Mate that’s a bit harsh. I’m sure his job is a lot tougher than you think and he tries and does well as far as I can see. He can’t get us everything we ask for, he is not omnipotent, but I’m sure he tries and takes forward as many of our suggestions and queries as he has time for.
Take care.

Sweetasman still doesn’t understand the adage “Don’t Shoot The Messenger”
Mike can only tell us whats being published, relay the news and feedback to SCEE and much more. Mike isn’t a God who creates games by clicking his fingers (I’m sure he will be one day :p) It’s the COMPANIES who decide what to send in.
Besides, even The Lone Wanderer Kebby needs a break from negative comments, but he still replies to a lot of comments compared to the other SCEE posters.
Mikes doing an awesome job. I personally would’ve called it a day after the Firmware 3 Calls-For-Blood

Everytime I see an update I´m happier not to have bought a PSPgo.
Don´t understand how a hard bet from Sony to go into downloads and not make their first priority to give the users a bunch of stock.
With the proper policy I do think it would be a success.
With a 3000 at least I can play Dissidia or the others while I wait for the games I´m expecting (Final Fantasy OCHO).
Anyway, this is my first post so apart from the moaning usual for this forums, greets to you all people, sooner or later they will change their minds, I guess when it affects them the pockets… meanwhile… patience.
