Okay, I’m not going to beat around the bush, I think we’ve got a cracking line-up this week…and if you all moan at me this week, you will have crushed my last bit of faith in humanity:)
For PS3 users you can get hold of Critter Crunch (trial and unlock) and Invincible Tiger, as well as the demo for Smash Cars, there are two packs available for Dragon Age: Origins (that’s my weekend gone then) and a host of other content too.
Oh, did I mention a certain Snake makes an appearance this week too…we finally have the PSone classic Metal Gear Solid available!
Also, I think you PSP owners will be feeling some love this week with titles available such as LittleBigPlanet, Assassin’s Creed Bloodlines, Jak and Daxter: The Lost Frontier, The Warriors and plenty more. There are also two further minis on the store this week, Echoes and Pinball Dreams; for the full list of this week’s content have a scroll down.
There will also be a couple of titles made available this coming Tuesday (24th of November)…I was going to be mean and keep you waiting but I wouldn’t do that to you all
. Therefore on Tuesday you’ll be able to get hold of Gravity Crash (both the full game and a trial & unlock) and for LittleBigPlanet an Assasssin’s Creed costume will be available too.
Leave comments as usual, but please keep in mind that I don’t work on the Video Download Service, so I won’t be supplying answers about that…
Have a good week!

Dear SCEE/PSN Workers;
How long more do we, the European users have wait to get the same opportunities as Japanese and American PSN users?! Is this fair you think?! We got the consoles for free, or we paid less than them or what…?
If you can’t do it, let it to some better ones!

@ Scourgewood: I was on a 1Gb card, and then got a 2Gb card – don’t get me wrong, I don’t mind having the one game on the card at a time, and I will no doubt get another card at some point, but it is more the principle of it.
I had a game on each card that I was not done playing, and fancied another game.
Lo and behold, even though the games I already had were not taking up much room, there was not enough space. If I’d been able to find out the size in advance, I’d not have bothered.
…Like I said, it’s mainly the principle of it. It just seems like a gross oversight on the part of SCEE, and I can’t help but feel aggrevated by it. Especially when it would be so easy to implement and could save so much frustration on the part of the consumer (assuming I’m not the only one!)

Phreaky: I have to admit, that it would indeed be very handy to have file sizes. When I first got my 1GB memory stick, it was when the PSP was first released and that cost £100 GBP. From that point, so much has advanced and things are getting so much bigger. I had to give in when I wanted to get FFVII and so I got the 4GB. Tbh, that’s pretty adequate but I’d still like more as I can’t get many videos/tunes on. Now there are digital versions of physical copies, I can see some games going over 2GB. It is definitely an oversight on Sony’s part and it’s definitely something that should be looked into.
Mike Kebby: Is there any chance of seeing files sizes on items on the store? Or maybe commenting to higher powers about said problem? Thanks bud.

tekkenism: Why? You made your point so many times now. If you’re really that concerned, wait until thursday and talk to Mike then.

Dark-Rakugosha, great to see Klonoa rated and ready for PSN, sure hope it will come out soon! Loved to play the game on my cousins PS1, but never had it myself.
Now I just wish they could release Wild Arms, Vagrant Story, Suikoden, Suikoden II and Castlevania: Symphony of the Night too.

Hey Mike. Do you know whats happening with Assassins Creed Bloodlines. Yes, its fixed on the store for people to buy, but as I bought it on Thursday night, I am still unable to download a working version. I have phoned SONY UK Callcenter and both times I have been told that Head Office have not responded with a solution yet. I am apparantly going to get a call from SONY, although I am still waiting.
I know your not probably the person to ask, but do you have any ideas.

Contact consumer services at networksupport@uk.playstation.com and they will be able to help you – we have a voucher code solution in place.
We will be getting an email sent out later this week (hopefully), that will let all consumers affected know what to do.
Thanks for your patience in this matter.

Saw on eurogamer that Konami said they plan to bring that and portable ops plus and the digital comic to psn in celebration of Peace Walkers eventual release.
Can’t speak for SCEE lol but by that i’m guessing personally that’ll mean a week before or even day of release of peace walker?

Maybe i’m being stupid, but where’s the LBP/Assassin’s Creed costume? I looked in the store but couldn’t find it, strange that Mm haven’t mentioned either costume on their site. Thanks Mike.

Hi Mike,
I see that there is no comment from anyones camp regarding Socom confrontation: Cold Front, I was hoping you could answer why? Any idea who will break the silence and give us an answer, be it you Shijima or Slant6 themselves.
I do think this was another poor decision with regards to a franchise that built the PS2s online community and has many loyal fans. Any response would be great.
