Ok.. This starts to sound promising.
Ben, is there any chance of you getting Eläkeläiset (Finnish band playing Humppa, and the most likely candidate to represent Finland on next Eurovision Song contest) into Vidzone. They are quite hot in some other countries, especially in Germany.

If you like a playlist on the homepage, or in recommended playlists, simply que it up in your now playing and then hit Triangle to get options up to save the now playing list as your very own special brand spanking new playlist to keep forever!
Be quick though! Homepage playlists sometimes don’t stay up longer than 1-2 weeks.
Don’t forget ANOTHER VidZone announcement in around 3 hours!!

@samarotu They made their career on making quite special covers of various songs (search Youtube with “elakelaiset” .. ) but they also do their own songs.

Guess this is never coming to New Zealand? Australias near enough I suppose? With Video stores going out to all the other countries, play tv and just about every other feature, it’ll be nice in New Zealand to hear about the upcoming release of one of them this side of 2013.
I know, I know, you really care about us all in the various countries that don’t have vidzone. We’re just all not patient enough for the news updates on progress that we get every 6 months or so. Why am I typing, I am really into wasting my time I guess, lol.

Hi Ben just one quick question: is it possible to reposition the Vidzone icon on the XMB (so it displays first in it’s category ala Photo Gallery) through a Vidzone update or would it fall to a firmware update?
Would be grateful for a response, I feel like a parrot repeating the same question constantly

One thing bugs me tho, every UK released video and single of Lady GaGa is on there except 1, Paparazzi. Will that ever see a VidZone release? I was curious when Love Game came on but thought nothing on it but the speedy release of Bad Romance got me wondering if theres some issue holding back a possible release.

Brilliant update Ben! We’re so happy that our brothers and sisters in many countries all over the world have the oppotrunity to watch gargantuan greatness of VidZone every day. Thank you. If I could see that things you described, I could be even more happy (hard to imagine, but I could) but don’t bother giving any dates and answers. I’m already happy because brother Bodyinabox is connected to the endless source of greatness.

Really enjoying vidzone and setting up my playlists from the ever expanding library.
But having a problem! How can i play a playlist in random order?
Cant find a setting to achieve this, if it isnt available could we have this functionality in a new update. It is a major hassle moving videos about in the playlists at present.
Please leave a reply – then i know someone from Vidzone is aware

Yeah! Finally, Green Day is on Vidzone but… only 1 song. Come on Ben, these guys are one of the best bands around at the moment (plus they are AWESOME live lol) Please, please, please can we have more videos for Green Day!

there are a lot of internet guides how you can trick the country IP check of Vidzone. I will only say: proxy and new account. You’ll just have to try it out till you find a good proxy

I’ve got Vidzone since Thursday. I really love it! Checking it everyday, but… where’s Coldplay? I assumed that at least they were in the list. I’m glad you’re also taking nontice of Italian singers like Massimo di Cataldo. Love to see more of him in the list. I’m missing the Corrs, Enya and no songs of Muse yet

to play videos in a random order do the following
1. go to “now playing” and press triangle to get to the options and then select shuffle
this shuffles all the tracks into a random order…
the way i did it was to go to “now playing” pressed triangle then deleted all the tracks in the list, then went to my playlist pressed triangle and selected “add to now playing” then followed step one…
hope this helps a little…
