I came here intending to post how I’d like to see more Australian songs in SingStore updates, but you absolutely FLOORED ME with this ABSOLUTELY AWESOME AWESOME UPDATE. Delta Goodrem, Nat Bassingthwaighte, Rogue Traders… WOW. This is the best birthday present (7 days early) I could’ve ever asked for.

Um, so yeah. I *was* going to say that I know that you listen to our feedback, and how to help boost Aussie/New Zealand content on the Store I was going to recommend an Aussie/NZ artists or two each week.

First recommendation is Ladyhawke, a New Zealand electropop artist. Songs from her 2008 debut album have been Top 10 hits in AUS + NZ, and have performed reasonably well in the UK. Particular songs that would be great for SingStar include “My Delirium” (#8 AUS, #9 NZ, #33 UK), “Paris Is Burning” and “Dusk Till Dawn”.

But yeah. WOW. YOU ARE SO AWESOME. WOW!

Good stuff, but please tell us we’re getting Last Christmas by Wham on the next update! :}

Last Years Festive Pack was bad, but this years is seriously awful! Whoever picked these is off my Christmas Card list! lol

Negatives aside, Positive time: YAY @ SNOW PATROL PACK, I do have to thank you for this
Also a couple of pretty decent and unexpected songs on the store coming up

So 3 weeks til next update, I Assume this will be the one that will include the coming Sugababes song that was in the maybe pipeline a few weeks back (Fingers crossed its a good one from the pre-Amelle era)?!
Also how long til we get James Morrison & Nelly Furtado – Broken Strings? If at all that is!

Anyone still having trouble getting on the singstore been unable to get on for a few days?

So gutted just realised that the next one’s not for 3 weeks Not gota chance of getting Wham, Mariah and Band Aid song much before christmas so won’t get much time to sing them this year if they appear on the singstore.

And yea I totally understand the issues with getting those…they are probably “Too mainstream” for their own good, making them a pain to liscense as most likely they’ll cost a ton more (Greedy corporates!)

You know like since its 3 weeks away and we have to wait a week longer for the next update…any chance of some “Maybe” hints as to what we might get?
Yea I understand you maybe can’t do that since between now and then things might change, but I’ve been a goodboy this year so C’mon just one or two maybe artists?! lol

Wow, the Christmas songs are as bad as last year.
There where a lot of sugestions then, but it looks like non of the artists want to make money from the Singstar comunity.
Anyway, I won’t see any Christmas songs in my carousel the whole year.

5 french songs in the same update is a nice present especially after months of starving… Thank you Santa-Nina-Claus!!
Just wanted to notice that the recent french song updates are recent songs. A next update with 80′s or 90′s french songs and I start believing in Santa Claus. These french songs are hits but we are waiting for ancients songs that everybody knows and not only teen music… And I can give artist names if needed.
Please keep on updating Singstar this way and I promise that we won’t use any hands for the football world cup in South Africa!!!

Hey Nina,

Since SingStar Mecano is out in Spain now, how about giving the peeps outside Spain their (internationally) famous song “Hijo de la Luna” as a SingStore title at least? It would be a shame to restrict such a wonderful and widely known song to one country only… Heck, even having Loona’s cover of it would be a start.

Some good songs this week, by the way, here’s hoping we’ll have more goodness to look forward to three weeks from now.

I would like to know if the Singstar Store will have any Idol songs like from American Idol Australian Idol etc? Because I know my wife would love to have them on her lists.

Nothing interesting for me. But I’ll be buying Singstar Mecano this week for sure and I’ll wait until December’s update to see if there are any suprises.

There’s already some singles from artists like Damien Leith and Wes Carr on the store. Will they appease your wife’s interests for now?

SHAKEY! This, Elton, and perhaps Ida Maria for a laugh. Other than that, MEH, and needs more rock and indie. And no, I don’t count Snow Patrol because they are LIMP.

But, Wham’s Last Christmas not being there is a massive shame.

Personally I’m not buying any songs until the patch fixes my game. I’ve lost too much money down the drain on songs I can’t play already.

Any plans on releasing some Serbian/Croatian/Bosnian songs on the store? There are almost 25 million Serbian/Croatian/Bosnian-speaking people in Europe and millions more in the US or Australia who would certainly enjoy singing some balcan tunes (Goran Bregovic, etc.).

I assume we will all be REALLY excited after those lips unseal in 3 weeks And I d love to see Nina as a person and not as our Singstar info provider and helper

Support for this game in America still is making me sick. I want to love Sing Star but it has stopped loving me.
Please Sing Star Europe, nag, berate and stay on Sing Star America’s Case until they give us better support and wireless mics!!

As an American, is there any way I can get some of the EU songs on my PS3? Will they work if I make an EU account?

Being from the United States this update is terrible due to unknown artist. Nina is totally hinting at the Go Go’s version of Our Lips Are Sealed. Since Rock Band and Band Hero got this song it makes sense that it will pop up on the Singstore very soon.

Oh and another thing. Karaoke Revolution that came out in the United States got Katey Perry “I kissed a Girl”. This song should of been released on a Singstar disc or the store a long time ago. Put this song in there immediately!

There where two more songs released on singstar games to PS2, Left Outside Alone & Sick N Tired why are they not available on Singstore?. What about a Anastacia pack or two? atm if i’m right, only in the Vol.2, we can get “Without Me” but i’m not gonna buy 1dvd for 1 song.
