‘Heads-Up’ PlayStation Store Update (26th November 2009)

Alright, first off Mike let me clarify that I didn’t mean SCEE should take more responsibility in going out and getting publishers to submit content, I really didn’t. i also didn’t mean to insult big companies by calling them evil, I am ever so sorry for that.

I just had a brilliant/insane idea. There are 10 million+ European PS3 owners right? Why don’t we all buy Gravity Crash (User generated content actually makes it fun to own), and then we all make 12 levels. Make sure they take about two minutes to finnish. That will give us 20.000.000 minutes of gameplay, roughly 333334 hours. We all play at least half of these, and until we have, we don’t look at new PSN updates. Then, when we’re done, there will be a mountain of new stuff for us all to play.

Of course you can replace Gravity Crash with any number of “Old” games that you haven’t played yet. Seriously peolpe, there are so many great games out there, I doubt anyone has already dowloaded and completed all the games on the PSN that they would enjoy playing…….

I’m glad Vidzone finally arrived in Holland, really love it! Can you also request songs?

Codemasters said on there forums that OFP:DR DLC would be out yesterday, and that it was confirmed by Sony…

So i’ll ask again: Where is the DLC??
Is it delayed due to localization issues like things always are!!
And don’t say it was not submitted because CM says it is..

Operation flashpoint DLC is not in the store, but…
a- it will be available next week
b- it will be available today
c- you can not give us a release date.

Codemasters said that F1 09 would be available at launch as a download from the PSN store; but no sign . As a PSP Go adopter I was really anticipating the release. Is there any word on when it will be available?

Final Fantasy VIII arrive before end of december?

Would you care to enlighten us as to why the status of Final Fantasy 8 has changed from “I would say weeks rather than months” in October to “I doubt it’ll be this year now…” today?

Thinking ahead, that changes would probably be better for me personally, but I am just curious. I’m sure others are aswell :p

So mike any update on ad-hoc party, it wasn’t mentioned and i’ve not checked the store but i would assume its not there if not listed, any idea when we will see it because all sources on the net stated EU release this month alongside the US release so whats the delay?

@411 given that FF8 is still the only PS1 game i have that won’t run i would think its something they are having issues with, you can barely get a US copy working on a custom firmware enabled PSP but it crashes way too often, thankfully they got games like FF7 working and my mate brought round a bag of PS1 games and none of them seemed to have issues working, there appears to be some pointers that FF8 had a unique form of copy protection in it which is apparantly to blame for issues getting it to work, although thats only what i read.

I dont understand the constant requests for PSone this and that, PSone games on the PS3 are a let-down, stick to next-gen gaming or dust off the PSone, I’d much rather the team @ PSN were working on some proper content.

People asking ‘where’s the DLC for xxxx’ etc, why don’t you read the blog, if it’s there it’s there, if not try next week if it’s near/past release date.

I like the features on the PS3 that has been implemented after initial release… It’s all a bonus(at least for release PS3 buyers).
But i do like to have steady release date’s and EU region has been terrible at it… Localization issues beeing the perp most of the time!

just another note the complaining customers do abt ps1 games especially are 100 % rightly due as sony have a console yet the biggest buyers e.u get treated the worst, store , home and now video store scee are alienating sony fans like myself so much i actually traded in 1 of my ps3s to get a xbox 360 the other day and thats something i thought id never do bt scee lack of stuff for us is to pathetic now especially after 3 yrs into ps3

it is mostly directed at scee as a whole nt mike as i said . i will chill now as i have a 360 and a ps3 now not just two ps3s . so im all good thanks scee can do as they wish

2 weeks in a row now the Rock Band DLC has not shown up, last week was supossed to be AFI & the Bangles(showed up today), and this week was supposed to be Tom Petty(where is it?)

Why does PS3 & Xbox in the USA have these packs but only the Xbox in Europe have these tracks?

Now the Lego Rock Band export feature does not work for EU PS3 users.

I’m sorry, but where the [DELETED] is my Braid on my EU store??! And why isn’t there a special KZ2 offer like there is on the US store? Because I would’ve totally bought it then.

hey mike try explaining the reason some games were pulled back from their release in the store they don’t need 2 go throught PEGI or localization cause they were released before without problems.
