This all sounds well and good but I installed that Gran Turismo theme back on the 3rd of September, never received a code for that nearly 2 months later! I’ll give this ago and if I don’t get it in 30 days Sony will be getting one angry phone call >:|

Its really cool to see the effort sony is putting out to market the PSPgo in Europe but why not in North America too?

This free stuff is great. I’m always getting beta/demo codes for PS3 games, got some free digital comics over the weekend, got Casino Royale on Blu-Ray for free back when I bought my first PS3, Spiderman 2 on UMD for buying my original PSP… and now this will be my 5th free game since buying the PSP Go.

Really good stuff guys, you’re the only company I know that rewards their customers, and very well at that. It’s appreciated.

This is brilliant news! only thing is, i still havent recieced my GT code, which i know for certain i downloaded correctly. I have been on the phone to SCEE and they said they’d get back to me, but i don’t know if i will get it . Should i go for AC or GT with this one?

i got my pspgo on day one and only 1 out of 3 games work because i downloaded the 3 games from the p3… read forums that sony would send replacement code but yet to see it happen.. can you help>?

I’ve done this by the letter, as laid out above, so all being well, it should work.

But I have a related question:
I got my PSP yesterday mourning, but it’s intended as a Christmas present for me.
But so as I have something to play on it come the 25th, I activated it, set it up for the internet and store and went through the previous “Rewards” scheme.
I followed all the steps, but there is something I’m concerned about.
When it came to the point of downloading the theme for the Rewards scheme, I’d noticed it had the little red mark indicating I’d already downloaded it, and thinking back, I may have, using my PSP-2000.

Will the fact I had the theme tagged as previously downloaded affect the “Rewards” scheme, or am I still eligible?

Does this work with using sub account or does it have to be master account?

hey i just ordered my psp go, regarding the rewards programme im concerned because i have a japanese psp 1000 will i still be able to get the 3 free games im entitled to??

i also have a Japanese PSP 1000, and got my PSP Go yesterday, it said i was succesfull and qualified for the rewards so hopefully yes it work and i will get them soon.

Sisee – there is a different theme to download. Go into ‘latest’ on the PSN store and you’ll see it there.

No code here yet and I download at 5.50pm last night… think it took two days to get my other promo codes so might be a little while yet…

@Adam – I bought a PSP Go in Germany the day after the release when GT was originally up for grabs free. I did all the necessary downloading of themes withing the 10 days as specified but still have not received my code for that. I also did the other offer for a free game using my old PSP having a UMD inserted etc and I never recieved any mails either. Will I eventually receive something for free or are these just rip off promotions???

@LuckyDuffer – Have SCEE really been so rude as to ignore your requests for help… surely they are in breach on contract!

I’d look into escalating this to as high a level as possible… I’d be more than a little angry!

This is quite good news. I downloaded the theme last night, and once the code arrives this will be five games I’ve got for free, which is comes to around a third of the cost I paid for my Go. Not bad at all really. I just need to figure out whether I want Assassin’s Creed or Motorstorm now.

Oh boy. I wish LBP was one of the downloads for Australia

@flatspikes – to be honest the promotions said they would be delivered within 30 days so I waited nothing… I must admit I have been a bit lazy in chasing them I’ve only just sent off a letter to SCEE complaining…but I’m not holding out for much hope

@LuckyDuffer – good luck with your letter… I wonder when it’s promo stuff if they perhaps take a less urgent approach to keep customers happy?

Saying that the GT promotion was very much part of the PSP Go’s appeal and a key decision in buying… hmmm they need to sort it for you.
