With the PS3 3.15 Firmware update that went live yesterday some minis titles are now playable on PS3. However, we recommend that if you are planning on buying a minis title to play on your PS3 that you wait until next Thursday as currently only a few minis are playable on PS3. On Thursday 17th we will fully re-publish the minis category and issue a full list of the minis titles compatible with PS3.
All previously released minis are playable on PSP and there were 5 new minis released on the PSN Store yesterday for you to check out:
- Dynogems (£2.49/€2.99) Rating: PEGI 3
Availability: All locales
- Heracles Chariot Racing (£3.49/€3.99) Rating: PEGI 7
Availability: All locales
- Let’s Golf! (£3.99/€4.99) Rating: PEGI 3
Availability: All locales
- Telegraph Crosswords (£3.49/€3.99) Rating: PEGI 3
Availability: Only available in Austria, Germany, Ireland, Switzerland and UK
- Beam ‘Em Up (£2.49/€2.99) Rating: PEGI 7
Availability: UK Only

I browsed the current collection but I fond them a bit overpriced for a mini.

Hi Adam.
Will minis ever have Trophy support?
Or perhaps they could have their own trophy value (less valuable than a bronze trophy, but still a trophy).
Just an idea I thought I’d share.

Are you sure Beam ‘Em Up should actually be on that list? I’ve seen no sign off it on the store and I’m in Northern Ireland, which last time I checked is part off the UK

Not interesting for me, because I have only PSP. Will you plan any benefit for PSP users, not only for PS3 users?

Hello Adam,
I thought it would be best for you to know that “Beam ‘em up” & “Dynogems” are not available in the UK store. When I go on MediaGo, they show up in the minis section, however when I sign in to my account (So I can purchase them) they then disappear from the store. When I search for them I get a result, but when I click on the mini, it says “There are no items that you can purchase at this time”. I hope you get this issue sorted out soon, as I want to play Beam ‘em up
Thanks,
- Matt -

I friend of mine bought a minis game (think it was Dracula) and it didn´t work on his ps3 probably due to the reasno you stated in the blog post. But can he re-download it next week for free since he already payed for it and will it work then?

I’m waiting patiently for Pinball Dreams & Fantasies to be compatible.
Also thinking of countless other Amiga games that would be great as minis…..

So this was brought to public as too early beta, and is total BS and useless unless there is PSP emulation that enables all minis to be played.. and full emulation would make all other PSP games possible too. This would also be really wise marketing strategy..

Without thinking first I bought Pinball Fantasy yesterday.
If I re-download it on the 17th will it be playable on my PS3 or do I have to buy it again?
If I have to buy it again then I won’t be doing so.
*hopes sincerely that he can just do a simple re-download of his bought item*

I really want to buy Pinball Dreams & Fantasies, was pleasantly surprised to find them there last night! Anyone else think £4 is a bit steep though? Annoying that they’re more expensive than other minis, so I’m guessing Sony knew there’d be retro fans wanting to buy them so they ramped the price up. Thanks Sony. Anyone know if the original soundtracks are available in the game, or is it remixes?

@20, I have Pinball Fantasies mini and it just works on PSP still but it’s completely original. An exact 1on1 port
I am very pleased with it

@21 – great news, will probably buy Dreams first, loved the Steel Wheel table when I was a kid
The music, like many many other Amiga classics is one of the main reasons why I love these games… for anyone wondering what I’m on about, check out this link to the title theme tune for Pinball Dreams…

LAST!
Does anyone know if the PS3 3.15 Firmware update fixes the trophies syncing bug some people have been experiencing? Rather annoying bug that.
