First off thanks to everyone that rocked up to Groove Armada gig in PlayStation Home! The venue was literally swamped with you eager PlayStation gig-goers, and (most of you!) dressed to impress… (did I even spot a few glow sticks in the crowds?)
We filmed the gig in action so see if you can spot yourself in the melee below (extra kudos to those of you that managed to track down the limited edition VidZone Trilby btw…)
For those of you that missed the event. Check out the full, un-edited footage on the VidZone application (accessible via the XMB), where you can now watch the entire gig and some additional Q&A footage with Groove Armada.
Oh, and for those of you that want to find out more information on the fantastic new Black Light album, click here for more details.
Until next time
Over & out
iELL/Elliott

I managed to visit the space over the weekend, glad I did as I didn’t realise it would be pulled so soon!
I have to say it was one of the best spaces I’ve been to so far – it had a great atmosphere/design and that Freezeball games was really addictive (any chance of replacing some of the Pool tables in the Bowling Alley with some Freezeball tables?).
More of the spaces in Home need to have a little more ‘life’ to them like this space – too many are very stagnant and eerily quiet. More of them should have a better use of lighting and ambient noise or video screens that carry their sound better. There should be very few places in Home where it is completely silent, but sadly most of Home is silent – even the back half of the cinema screens are completely silent!

Cool, well done
, now when is DEPECHE MODE and/or some other mute records acts coming to Home, or more impotantly Vidzone…artists like Moby, Erasure, Goldfrapp, Vince Clarke, Yazoo, Nick Cave, Plasticman, Recoil, Luke Slater, NITZER EBB, Diamanda Galás, Kraftwerk, The Residents, Devo, Inspiral Carpets, Einstürzende Neubauten, etc…all these great bands on Mute or Novamute! Talk to the man, Daniel Miller. PLEASE!!!

post addendum. I’m sorry I’m not bumping apurpose, but reading the posters comment re the space above. In that space you can win a trophy ornament similar to the ornaments posted randomly about the space, yet these ones are different to the one you win from the paintball gm. These ones really coolly spew flourescent playstation gm button signs up into the air! If they can give us an annoying bubble machine to annoy folk with in home, then how about selling us this awesome ornament from the shopping centre so we can decorate our various personal spaces/clubspaces with, as the winnable ornament trophy, tho cool, just sits there, looking…well trophy. Hell, you could even open up that yellow fronted shop with the bicycle wheel thingee in it to sell the thing. I’ll pay NZ$10 for the ornamant, no worries. Just a thought

“did I even spot a few glow sticks in the crowds”
I think they were region hoppers…
I thought one of the recent updates was supposed to be preventing things like that?

Vidzone er really cool, but….
The volume of videos can be better.
For example:
Pearl Jam – Last Kiss
Matchbox Twenty – Push
etc. etc.
Is the database getting bigger??
Yours Fjeldgaard
