If the DLC Pack comes to the UK Store at a price higher than £6.49 you can shove it, and forget about me buying any further Playstation Consoles in the future. (I’ve got the entire suite of Playstation Products and a stack of games for each one, so I think I class as a VERY loyal customer – who spends a considerable sum of money on each version) e.g I’ve had the PS3 for a little over a year and have spent comfortably over £1000 on it and the games and accessories that go with it.

The Currency conversation should bring this in at about £6.21

Sony, you SERIOUSLY need to start acting like a Global Company and treating your customers a little more fairly.

jan 7th that sucks ive been playin socom since it came out stayed loyal to the game and the blood yanks get it well before us.my money is just as good as theirs yet i have to wait two or three weeks.playstation you suck big time

I’m sorry you guys haven’t gotten it yet. I only played for like 10 minutes on one of the maps and it was kinda sweet. I will be playing all weekend. I think I’m most excited about the thermal imaging. WOOOO WHOOOO. You guys will see what I mean when you get it but it’s about time!

You just posted this update yesterday. The Cold Front Pack was announced months ago. You mean to tell me that it took you this long to confirm a release date? You had no problem including everything else why the delay for Cold Front. This tells me you had no intention of releasing it the same day as the U.S. This is nothing but PR spin and you know it. The SOCOM community has been continually screwed by Slant Six – worst games developer in video game history and this is just another nail in the coffin.

An absolute joke. Pure laziness and a complete lack of gratitude to the Socom and PS3 community. An apology is needed not excuses.

The price will be something way above what we charge Americans we just have not decided how much to rip you off for just yet but rest assured you will find.

Another update that is to late.

I was just wondering what the thought process was with only releasing the DLC of Socom Cold Front in the USA. Did anyone stop to think that there are many clans that have USA members and that it would start ripping the clans apart? Did anyone think that none of the USA guys would not come into EU rooms and start using Thermal scopes and different weaponry? Did anyone not think that it would start ruining the game for the rest of the Socom community? COME ON Sony, for a global organization I would have thought that this would have been thought through. I would have expected this from Slant Six not SONY.

Your excuse is in this instance the delay has been down to the fact that you physically couldn’t get this pack loaded on to all of our 29 storefronts before the 7th of Jan. I won’t mention where I work but are you delivering these packs by post? I mean for a delivery (IT terms) you need a day and you need at least a day for the payload to be loaded, so according to my calculation this should be ready by Tuesday taking the weekend into account, unless you have 1 person loading all 29 storefronts which I would find very hard to believe. 7 January is unacceptable and we need an explanation!!

QUESTION FOR PLAYSTATION: Why is it that the PS STORE doesn’t accept FPO/AP Billing Addresses and what are you doing to fix this? I and many other Forward Deployed servicemembers want to know and your Customer Service (24-48 hours later) does not give any valid advice or reason! I have seen theads related to this dating back to 2007 and still no fix???

yea it think it sucks bout the relase date for uk but i am from the uk and i have the dlc but i have an na game people are sayin the dlc wont work on english copies but i rekon it will so u can just make an american account and get and american playstation network card so u can ad funds to the wallet and download it that way there are sites that email ur the network cards code instantly which would allow u 2 get the dlc

its really kind of you to help me. but the guys of socom still make every one of europe angry about this. normal i dont care so much about dlc of games but i love the game socom and really the dlc so they make really a big mistake there is nothing news now in de holidays its not fair. now we have nothing. its just that i am angry about that it wont come out in the holidays. i am from holland and whe need the dutch langues. really disapointed in this.

when will sony get with the programm and make everything world wide.
i know some thirdt parties might not be able to due to different publishers and rights but all of the sony owned stuff should be worldwide.

i say that this is bull.
sometimes it us just better to delay something and after say a week release it world wide , this way you dont piss off half the community each time.

anyway i love socom but this is still a let down, i might not even buy it anymore cause the thrill of being one of the first to play it is already gone.

The only way I would purschase it, if is it had a fair price wich would be. Now comes some calculations :

US Price: 15 Dollar
Converted to EU currency: 10.4715 EUR

Special US Price: 10 Dollar
15 Dollars – 10 Dollar: 5 Dollar
Converted to EU currency: 6.98119 EUR

Special EU Tax for the wait (22 Days delay), so we make uhm 0,09 euro cents a day will be charged as a tax for our waiting makes it 1,98 euro. Special EU prize is 6.98119 EUR = 6,98 euro – 1,98 euro is 5 euro.

Minus a compensation for their rudeness, 50 Euro cents. Makes the price for EU Users 4,50 Euro. A fair price, and what is worth for us.

Is it just me but is it beyond sensible comprehension and common sense for someone in charge of this fiasco to go hmm look at all the fuss the EU kick up about getting put to the back of the queue so why dont we release it there on the 17th Dec and make the others wait till the 7th Jan. If getting it in storefronts was the issue where would the problem be here? But no yet again the US gets 3 weeks to practice then invade EU servers and rank whore, once they figure out how to get around the complicated change of location to see EU servers. PFFT

I’m from Brazil, I’m registered on us.playstation.com, my PS3 is Canadian and my SOCOM is Korean. I do have a problem.

I bought my Cold Front Pack on 18/12/09, the pack was automatically instaled by the PS3 but it does not run!

Tomorrow I’ll borrow a US version of SOCOM from a friend of mine to check if Cold From Pack works. Case it does not work, bye bye SOCOM – I owns Call of Duty…

I do not buy anything else from Sony – I’ve bought only PS3 because up to now, it still is the best video game. Sony already have passed from stubbornness to stupidity ignoring Brazil.

So this comes out tommorrow, and still no price. They obviously know the price but can’t be bothered advising us. Not the best attitude to have when there has been no end of problems with this game. A lot have people have abandoned this game, and a lot more are not far off doing the same. So do you think it might be a decent idea to treat those who have stuck with you, (at the very least) fairly.

Im Usually up earlie and because this i usually check PSN onlineshop on ps3 for updates, now usually all thursday updates have been made before 8am, so why are there no updates yet? over the last 2 weeks there has been 2 psn updates for shop so maybe there not updating today? and if i dont get the DLC today im gonna be very [DELETED] and the game will 100% be going where it shoulda went along time ago…………The trash!
