Another New Year’s resolution is to try and improve my titles… Another resolution failed already… Damn!
Never mind… I have news! News of an exclusive nature!
You know a band called Phoenix? Well you should. They are French, they are cool, and they make some awesome music. We have an EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW VIDEO available on VidZone!! It has loads of behind the scenes footage of them recording their latest album “Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix” with their producer Philippe Zdar (My favourite producer of all time btw…)
We also have all the videos from the album, for your viewing pleasure.
So… go buy the album, watch the videos, and marvel that you are the first people to see how they made the album.

all advertising in Belgium is in french, while more than 60% of the population here speaks dutch, plz correct this!

I like vidzone but I think the user interface is really rubbish. It should be more fluid and easy to use like singstar.

Still no idea as to why I have chunks of badly translated French in my VidZone menus although both my PS3 and VidZone are configured to English?

Love 1901, saw it on La Blogotheque.
Then suddenly it was on the UK playstation ad. Then I saw it advertised as such on NeoGAF.

You know… I’m not polish but I’m starting to feel sorry for them :-/ . They’ve been requesting it for some time. I’m not sure how large the demand is over there overall but it feels like you should at least acknowledge those that want it there.
I’ll check this band out on Friday.

We have, and do, acknowledge that Poland want to use VidZone, along with a lot of other countries but making VidZone available everywhere is sadly a lot easier said than done. We want VidZone to be available to everyone one day but these things take time and money.

Hi Kajax,
We’ve seen this problem and we’re currently trying to fix it. We think it’s something to do with some Swedish PSN IDs as if you use another ID, a UK one for example, on the same PlayStation it works fine.
We’re trying to find a more permanent solution to this problem but if anyone else has any issues using VidZone they should email ps-problems@vidzone.tv

I haven’t heard of Phoenix, in fact i don’t get to hear much french music or other nationalities unless their songs are released over here, which is rare. I remember a french band called Les negresses vertes who were quite good….. er late 80′s or early 90′s i think, i wouldn’t mind seeing a few of their vids.
How about giving all of us (in every VidZone country) a featured playlist of let’s say 10 top artists for each country. I understand there would be licencing issues with different countries but maybe something like that would be possible.
I’m up for sampling some of the music vids from other countries that we don’t normally get to hear in Ireland and UK.
…..anyway…just an idea… while i wait for the floyd…..
Oh – and of course i’ll check out Phoenix – They’re not a boy band are they?

I’ve been having a lot of problems with Vidzone – it was working fine, but now it will only play one video, then get stuck on the buffering symbol.
Judging by the forums, I’m not alone – Any idea what may cause this, and if so is a solution being worked?
It’s annoying, as Vidzone is a great service.
