Thanks to all for your feedback last week, there was some great work there indeed. Lots of you echoed sentiments that I personally share and it’ll be interesting to see where this year takes us.
Last week’s special offers continue for one more week (with a new batch coming on the 21st) so don’t forget to check those out if you haven’t already. We’ve gone a bit demo friendly this week with Vancouver 2010 and Inferno Pool for PS3, and Football Manager Handheld 2010 and Army of Two: The 40th Day for PSP available. This leads me nicely onto the fact that we’ll also have the full game of 40th Day available this Friday too.
Throw into the mix one full game, another PSP game, one mini, one PSone game and a bunch of downloadable content, and that makes this week’s publish. Oh, and a personal highlight, a trailer for Yakuza 3, it’s coming!!
That’s your lot this week; I’ll catch you in the comments section. Cheers.

Hey mike, nice update. Any news on real psone classics coming soon?
Posted on 14 January, 2010 at 12:12 pm by Mike Kebby
There should be some cracking titles coming in the next few months, that’s all I can say at the moment though

I thought Star Wars Battlefront II was already out?
Also, Any sign of Half-Minute Hero on your schedule? 12th February for the UMD version

Ah Constructor, brings back memories, might pick it up.
So Constructor, Blink 182 Pack 02, Uno trial, Vancouver demo and Football manager demo for me. Great week!

Posted on 14 January, 2010 at 12:09 pm by Archonik
Whoa! I loved Constructor on the PC when it first came out. Is the PSOne version any good?
)
Also, why is WYWU for Beatles Rock Band only released now or is it a fixed file for the singles?
Also I don’t really care but, is FFVIII still on track for a Jan release (let’s get this question out of the way
Posted on 14 January, 2010 at 12:12 pm by Mike Kebby
FFVIII is indeed still on track

Posted on 14 January, 2010 at 12:09 pm by mitch_uk_psn
Gotta agree with the 3rd reply, I also loved Constructor – and no now longer need to have a full memory card to save my game, will be buying today for sure.

No Peggle?
Not a great update, probably best as I’m skint.
But where’s Peggle?
US has it, give some love to the UK.
Posted on 14 January, 2010 at 12:13 pm by Mike Kebby
I don’t have a concrete date for Peggle just yet

Nice update, thanx
However, is there any word when we should expect the Fallout DLC to be released in the countries where it is still not available? Yes, the issue is about Poland again
I (and many others) have bought the English version of Fallout 3 here in Poland and we still cannot enjoy the DLC even though the English version of the DLC has been available for months. Could you please finally link it to the Polish PS Store?
Posted on 14 January, 2010 at 12:13 pm by Mike Kebby
The publisher did not submit it for release in Poland, let me see if there are plans though.

I find myself a little bit underwhelmed and confused. Wasn’t Diner Dash already released? No Return to Ostagar DLC for Dragon Age?
Posted on 14 January, 2010 at 12:14 pm by Mike Kebby
Nope, Diner Dash is new for us, and Ostagar was not scheduled for this week either.

Posted on 14 January, 2010 at 12:10 pm by AcidCrashX
ooh yeah totally forgot patapon 2 was on the cheap, I’ll be picking that up.
Hey Mike, what do you think of Darksiders? I’ve been really enjoying it, a surprise hit for early 2009 huh?
ttynw!

It’s a great title, and at a great price too
I am enjoying Darksiders, good hearty brutal fun

I really wish Electronic Arts would sort out their PSP pricing however, £31.99 for Army of Two is too expensive.
I know you don’t have any say over publishers prices, but I wish EA would follow Sony and price new psp games at around £20-£22

Can we get some new content please not just old stuff
17
Posted on 14 January, 2010 at 12:12 pm by RadioactiveMouse
Not a bad update. No exciting content but I might pick up the Vancouver demo.
So any chance of a post concerning PSN updates to watch out for this year (featuring games and other content) ? No dates needed but there hasn’t been much previews on upcoming releases this year.
Would be nice to see where my money is going this year
Posted on 14 January, 2010 at 12:17 pm by Mike Kebby
I was planning to try and put something together for sometime in the next month or so highlighting titles for the coming months

Yeah it’s really annoying. I love my Go too and i think Sony are doing everything perfectly with their stuff but 3rd Parties need to cater for us more and not rip us off. It’s kinda gutting seeing these new things on play.com for £18 or something *sigh*
Uno is tempting today thjo hmm lol.

Decent update and I’m curious about how those new PSP titles look like.
Say, I recently bought Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm on PS3 but I can’t find any of its DLC (the Storm Packs featuring bonus support characters, new costumes and more) in the PlayStation Store. Did I miss a news about their removal or are they just very hard to find?
Posted on 14 January, 2010 at 12:18 pm by Mike Kebby
They are still available but not to all countries, I’m afraid Sweden being one of them…sorry

“Ostagar was not scheduled for this week either.”
It was scheduled for release on the other platforms that Dragon Age is on, why not PS3? Gdamnit.
Posted on 14 January, 2010 at 12:19 pm by Mike Kebby
But then it was removed from other platforms too

Hey Mike hope your doing well? Nice update man but I do have a few questions for you.
Any signs of DLC for:
WWE SmackDown Vs RAW 2010
Assassins Creed 2
And Mordern Warfare 2
And if so any date on when we can expect them?
Thanks Mike,
Have a good week.

Wait a minute. A publisher can release a demo to all locales but the full product is a no go? Im sorry but this is rather mischievous.

Posted on 14 January, 2010 at 12:19 pm by wiiman07
Mike will you be updating the store early next week to give AUSTRALIANS AND NEW ZEALANDERS an opputunity to get a code for the beta? Because the time that the store does get updated I will be in bed and so will many other people because of work school etc..

Posted on 14 January, 2010 at 12:20 pm by Ravenblade86
Trying to figure out what Deflector actually is? Was hoping Alien Zombie Death would hit the Minis store this week but I can wait
Would be sad about the Dragon Age: Origins – Return to Ostagar not hitting the EU store this week, but I see it’s been pulled from Xbox Live because it’s sorta broken so, might be better of waiting anyway!
31
Posted on 14 January, 2010 at 12:20 pm by TheNarrator
ah, not too much for me this week. although tempted to try some Uno.
not actually sure what id be interested in seeing on the Store. if a demo of a game cropped up i might get it (depending on size :p), if a cheap game popped on id think about it but hesitate. otherwise… im not sure what im waiting to see lol.
but im sure ill know when i do

It’s a shame you don’t have any codes to give a way this week, Mike

Woo Hoo! I get to play the Ninja Gaiden table that I bought, downloaded and installed last week
Hopefully FFVIII soon (21st or 28th? go on Mike, give us a clue!)then I can stop bothering you until you announce FFIX.
For some reason I thought there was going to be a Mod Nation Racers Beta today, still I had no chance to get back early enough to be one of the lucky ones anyway.
Cheers for the “Heads Up”…I’ll be back next week to either moan or celebrate FFVIII (and no mention of FF Tact…oh damn!)

It opens up later on mike and you get to go anywhere you want
just a shame it steals ideas from other games zelda,GoW,and portal.
mike did you find out why SCEE isn’t using the scroller? they could have used it at least for the maintenance that was going on.

Mike, bit late, but one thing I’d like to see on the blog as a whole is for the damned thing to work on my PSP browser.
It seems stupid that this official Sony website is not viewable on the company’s own product.
Any news on Williams Pinball Classics?
Posted on 14 January, 2010 at 12:44 pm by Mike Kebby
Nothing concrete, but currently looking like late Feb.

ARGH! I totally forgot to put up some feedback last week
Here goes anyways.
My suggestion is rather simple: When navigating the Singstore you can go to the next line by pressing right when at the rightmost icon in any given line of icons, why is this not the case for the PSN Store? It seems dumb that you have to go right, click all the way back and then down or alternately browse every second line right to left.
Hope that made some kind of sense.

Posted on 14 January, 2010 at 12:28 pm by Dragonpurse
Disappointment
Was hoping for Darksiders Demo, Heavy Rain Demo, Dark Void demo (FIX IT PLEASE, doesn’t work on BE store, leads to an error).
Maybe PSOne classics like FF8, Spyro series (US and JP have it, why not us?)
I always feel like Europe is the adopted child no one cares about
.
Regrettable to say the least.

hey mike, please spend a couple of minutes and figure out what my question!
Any news regarding the missing Buzz Junior: DINO DEN for norway? , it was supposed to be out a month(?) ago according to your weekly lists.
It was released in the UK and here on the blog it said “ALL LOCALES”, hopefully you have an answer to what happened to it as i have been crossing my fingers for it to pop up in norway every week since as my family loves the Buzz Junior games, we have em all on the PS2 but no backwards compability unit.
Other than that, Constructor was a cool game back in the day although i am unsure of how it has aged, i’ll grab it and see
PS:thanks for the Vancoover OL demo, much appriciated as i planned on buying that tomorrow when it releases
Posted on 14 January, 2010 at 12:46 pm by Mike Kebby
I’ve asked the team to look into that, it has been released in the Norwegian store, so not sure why you can’t see it.

Hi Mike,
Do you know when we will get any Tekken DLC here in Europe?

Posted on 14 January, 2010 at 12:28 pm by nobodygaming
I swear I was on the PS Store no more than 5 minutes ago and none of that Rock Band content was available (the Paul McCartney + Blink 182 packs being the ones I was most curious about)
And what’s with Within You Without You being listed as new for Beatles Rock Band? That was available with the rest of the Sgt. Pepper album when it was released (o_0)
Posted on 14 January, 2010 at 12:47 pm by Mike Kebby
This post is a ‘heads-up’ not a ‘content is all available now’ post. The store will go live in the next few hours.
