2000AD and IDW getting my money again this week.
Should be another Wormwood story arc coming down the pipes at some point? Think its three story arcs that Ben Templesmith has done for Wormwood so far right?

Hey RavenBlade86, you’re right. The Wormwood: Gentleman Corpse: Calamari Rising story arc will be in the store in the very near future.

2000AD, Locke and Key and maybe some more Astonishing X-Men for me this week. Don’t think I’ve said this before but I’m loving the comic store, it’s definitely one of the cooler things that have hit the PSN. Keep up the good work guys.

I’m proud to say I bought one of the Durham Red volumes and love it so far – this is one the killer apps for a PSP, not even Marvel can make a digital distribution model work for comics on their own (they use a crappy flash browser,v so you have to be online).
Anyway, one thing puzzled me is why the Rogue Trooper book has about a quarter the pages of the published version. Is it meant to be the first volume? Because it’s being sold as one (if you’ll pardon the link http://www.ekmpowershop2.com/ekmps/shops/2000ad/rogue-trooper-the-futu re-of-war-xb161-147-p.asp).
Dammit… I just saw RT is now being published in those 400 page volumes by 2000AD… any chance we’ll see them (Judge Dredd, Strontium Dog, Nemesis et al.) coming to the digital reader?

We are getting a lot of requests for more 2000AD content – we’ve let them know!

I don’t deserve a code because I want the code badly enough to post a message about why I don’t deserve a code because I want the code badly enough to post a message about why I don’t deserve a code.
Get it? Me neither :/

You don’t deserve a code because you are commenting on a post that Mike may not read

So what’s happened to the Transformers comics? Was picking up All Hail Megatron weekly, but it seems to have vanished from the weekly updates.
For this to be a success, it needs to be possible to follow a series all the way through on a week-by-week basis – why would anyone be interested in starting to read a series if they don’t know whether it’s just going to cut off in the middle for no reason?
Posted on 21 January, 2010 at 3:35 pm by Pete Stott
As I mentioned in the post – All Hail Megatron continues next week and then every week until its conclusion. Sorry for the gap!

@Pete: Apologies for my lack of reading ability.
I blame sleep deprivation and lack of my Megatron fix…

Ooh, the next Locke & Key for me – was hoping it would be up.
I am a new recruit to all this stuff thanks to my PSP and so far I’m loving it.
Leviathan was great and am loving Locke & Key after it was recommended last week (cheers Pete!).
Any more recommendations?
Posted on 21 January, 2010 at 3:59 pm by Pete Stott
Excellent, Locke & Key ticks both art and story boxes for me. It’s great. As for more recommendations, well you can probably tell we are huge fans of Wormwood: Gentlemen Corpse. Or you could try some of 2000AD’s Progs if you liked Leviathan, or even Zombies Vs Robots? The Comic Forum is a good place to go to canvas opinion too.

Thanks, we do aim to open as many Comic Stores as possible. But until we have concrete dates we can’t say if or when they’ll be live.

Any comments on when “beginning of 2010″ is coming to Spain? That is the date that is mentioned in the Spanish page for Playstation Comics, so it seems 2010 hasn’t still started for us
Posted on 21 January, 2010 at 5:13 pm by Pete Stott
Welcome to the temporal warp that is release dates. We still have a lot to do to get the Spanish store up and running so hang in there. We’ll give you an update when we have one.

When will the comic store come out to the rest of Europe? For instance, Norway?

Is there going to be anymore Neozoic? It seems to have stopped updating after issue 3.
I’m sure there is just a delay in securing release permission or something to that affect. It just makes me worry that I might get interested in another title only to have that stop prematurely too.

I’d just like to say the free astro boy (and some others, like some disney short story) impressed me very much. The ‘free flow’ system is excellent (although imperfect) and the sound occasional surprise effects are charming. If digital comics have a future on ANY medium, I’d say this is probably the best I’ve ever seen them.
I’m not really a fan of comics (there’s always more that you haven’t read) but… if ever a truly exceptional one-of-a-kind piece comes out, this is probably the medium I’ll want to get it on ^^; Especially if it was exclusive…

Just a heads up for people, the pricing for Wormwood #6 appears to be wrong. Should be £0.79 not £1.19. They are trying to fix it asap according to a tweet from Ben Templesmith.

I agree with HazelAM on Halo Jones, also does the mighty green guy have any plans for bringing Judge Dredd Megazine and older issues of 2000AD to the PSN?
