I’m Richard Yap, European Product Manager at SCEE and I’m looking after the UNCHARTED 2: Among Thieves DLC. I have some fantastic news to share with those of you who haven’t yet experienced the joys of this award winning and high-acclaimed PS3exclusive: you will be pleased to hear that a demo will be available on PSN store next week! This is your chance to revel in the much talked about action blockbuster. Make sure you download it, you won’t be disappointed.

For existing fans, well… we have a special treat in store for you as well. The guys at Naughty Dog have spoken to a few of their friends at Guerilla Games, Insomniac Games and Sucker Punch Productions, and have been able to a pull off something unique within the UNCHARTED 2 competitive multiplayer modes – their first DLC release is the UNCHARTED 2: Among Thieves PlayStation Heroes Skin Pack!
The ‘PlayStation Heroes’ pack will give you the chance to run and gun through the UNCHARTED 2 online multiplayer maps with some Sony PlayStation favourites! The pack includes seven incredible character skins, where you can battle it out as good Cole, evil Cole or Zeke from inFamous; tear it up as Sgt Nathan Hale or a Chimera Hybrid soldier from the Resistance series; and defeat your enemies as a Helghast Trooper or Tomas “Sev” Sevchenko from Killzone 2.
Both will be available to download from PSN when the store is updated on the 28th January (the demo is, of course, free and the PlayStation Heroes pack will be €4.99). In the meantime check out the Heroes screenshots!

I wanted to buy the skin pack, which you would probably encourage but then I saw that my UK import CE BCES number is not compatible with the pack.
My code: 00727/S
Can u guys help me in some way? Please?

Disappointment.
Neither Indra pack nor this one work on my game. Bought the game in the UK, live in Belgium and didn’t want to be limited to French language. Is that such an issue to split UK froml the rest of EU? UK and Belgium are both in the EUROPEAN UNION, finally!! Doesn’t that make sense??
Could this, please be fixed? I paid for both packs and I can’t use any of them because of this “invention”. Never had problems with other games (most are bought from UK). If there is no chance of making it compatible, will we be reimbursed? No one informed me that pack wouldn’ work.

Unfortunately, Sony is the only publisher to enforce a region locking policy between the UK and the rest of the European Union (their games are actually the same, only the catalog numbers are different). I know it sounds totally dumb and nonsensical, especially since all PS3 games are region-free and even Sony Pictures are encouraging region-free Blu-rays. Why should DLCs be different, at least inside Europe? Hopefully Sony will think again about this dubious “price-locking” strategy which is against the concept of open trade.
Your only legal solution for now is to register a UK account and use UK prepaid cards to fund your online wallet.
For the record: I have the UK version of Assassin’s Creed 2, and I just bought the “missing” Sequence 12 (Battle of Forli) from the French store. The “French” DLC is perfectly compatible with the “UK” version (which is in effect a European version).

I just downloaded this pack and it doesn’t seem to be working. When I go on to the multiplayer skins, there’s nothing new. Is there something else I should do?

I think these characters should be unlocked as Seraphus-Y said, I really like the game but wouldn’t spend any more just to buy extra characters, bit of a money spinning idea really.

I just downloaded this pack and it doesn’t seem to be working. When I go on to the multiplayer skins, there’s nothing new. Is there something else I should do?
I have the same problem. ND, please help. its like we paid for nothing…
